Q: Now that energy stocks are going out of favour, it's time to start looking at the what might be attractive from a valuation point. I'm looking for a US energy company (not XOM or CVX): what are your thoughts on DVN and PXD? Is one preferable or do you have another suggestion? Thanks.

Q: My TFSA has relatively small positions in these equities for some modest income. Most of my TFSA is positioned for growth. With Sylogist's recent dividend slash and resulting price tumble, I am thinking of taking my lumps on SYZ and redeploying the cash to buy more AX.UN that is value-priced.

Q: Hi, I sold some stocks last year that had gains, but missed selling the loser that I was going to offset them with. This year I have 2 stocks left one has a gain and the other is loss I missed selling last year. Can I use this loss to help me in any way going forward. Thanks.

Q: On Monday it was announced that TD Bank will pay US$1.2 billion to settle Stanford Ponzi scheme lawsuit. That being such a large sum will it have a great affect on TD Bank for this years financial statement?

I listed to Robert Kessler on Consuella Mack show called Wealth Track on Sunday. He is very convinced that we all should get out of stocks and go into US LADDERED TREASURIES. He feels the market will be very bad for 15 years or so. What is your take on his view?
