Q: Can I get your thoughts on the quarterly results for GDI and EIF?

5i Research Answer:

EIF has been posted; GDI revenue of $615M missed estimates of $618M, but organic revenue grew 7%, nearly twice what was expected. EPS of 35c beat estimates of 32c. Profit did fall 27% though despite revenue gains. EBITDA of $39M matched guidance. Profit fell with higher interest expenses and lower operating margins. Still, we would consider it a decent, yet uneventful, quarter.
