Q: Hi...Bill Harris on BNN today said that Avenue is no longer in Leon's. They had bought, believing in the pandemic impact that would cause people to stay home and buy a TV & sofa. Now, with the potential reopening post-Covid, people may soon prefer to go out to a baseball game and have a beer & hotdog (I'm paraphrasing). The result = Leon's may feel the impact. I am a happy owner of LNF...just curious on your thoughts?
Q: Hi Guys
Is the yield starting to look tempting at 3.35% . If long term rates aren't moving much, doesn't that say the inflation fears might be a little over done ? and if not now, at what percentage yield on XLB would you purchase,
Thanks Gord
Q: I don't own the stock, but I'm curious on your thoughts about Affirm releasing quarterly results while the market is open. Isn't this highly unusual?

Q: Hi 5i team,
I have held shares of Trane Technologies for one year now. Recently the stock price looks very bearish. My understanding is there are concerns about supply chain issues. How serious is this problem ? Will this hurt the profits of the company for the long term?
Thank you for your opinion

Q: The latest news from BAM would suggest another spin off is on the horizon would 5i see this as positive. According to what I've been able to read so far the spin off would be a private company how would that benefit the common shareholders over the long term.
Q: If BAM spins off it's asset management business, what is left? Just 'Brookfield' and it would be similar to their infastructure/renewable/insurance spin-offs?
Q: I am considering purchasing one of the following and would appreciate your guidance.
Maple Leaf Foods, Loblaws, Costco. Or, would you recommend a different company. Many thanks
Q: Can you comment on the change in mangement in XBC. Is this a similar situation to LSPD and Dax where the CEO was encouraged to find a different role by the board? Thoughts of the new CEO and COO? Still holding onto this struggling stock and looking for something positive on it. Do you still see it having potential and worth holding or is it time to move on? If time to move on, can you please suggest some of your top picks today (comfortable with risk and does not have to be the same sector). XBC is held within my TFSA so no tax loss option. Thanks for all that you and your team do!
