Q: What could be the impact on LUN of the sink hole close to its mine in Chili? Does the decrease of its share price rather market/copper related? Thanks.

Q: Hi, TRP and ENB had a bad day with both stocks declining 2.5%, by close. There was no specific news for either company. Oil was weak today and price dropped about $2.50-$3, during course of the day.
My understanding is that movement in oil prices has no direct impact on these stocks, in a meaningful way. XEG, on the other hand was down just less than 1%. Was TRP/ENB drop unusual ? Thanks

Q: The TSX solidly outperformed the SPX from early 1999 to early 2009 and the SPX solidly outperformed the TSX from then until early 2020 and we’ve been chopping around since.
Is it time for the TSX to outperform the SPX again, for at least a few years? Is this essentially a question of how strong will tech be going forward?
I noticed that during the TSX outperformance from 1999 to 2009 oil went from $11 to $140. So maybe it’s also a question of where oil is going.

Q: Novo Resources seems to be well-positioned after selling its New Found Gold stake and retiring its Sprott obligations with the proceeds. The treasury
also looks to be in good shape to facilitate moving ahead with development
of some of the massive Pilbara land holdings as well as other endeavours.
Could you please give your outlook for the company, including a ballpark
estimate for the carrying costs of the big land package in Australia? Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i,
Following Eric Nuttall's appearance on Market Call on March 4th this year, I invested roughly equal amounts in the above six oil and gas companies on March 7th. (Coincidentally, another 5i member posted questions about the exact same six companies that day.). As of yesterday's close, the results have been a mixed bag, ranging from TOU up 52% to TVE down 25%. Overall, though, up about 6% (not counting dividends).
My investing style is generally to buy and hold quality companies for the long-term, while this oil and gas play was intended to be a bit more of speculative. What is your current opinion of these six companies? Would it be wise to sell any now?
