Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Thanks to 5i’s suggestion a while ago, our holdings in WSP have grown substantially. Recently, we initiated a small position in STN, which currently appears to have better momentum than WSP.
Since 5i approves of holding both, if this was YOUR portfolio, would you sell enough WSP to balance STN and WSP at 50/50?
Thanks as always for your guidance.

Q: Hey,
Thoughts on starting a position here? Seems to be good value.
Thanks.

Q: FNV, my largest precious metals holding, has a growing number of 'Hold' ratings by analysts. I also hold smaller positions in Agnico and Alamos. Would trimming FNV and adding another quality gold stock with more total upside make sense? If so, what stocks might you recommend?
With appreciation,
Ed

Q: Dear Peter et al:
I hold 2 out of 3 of your favourite Gold stocks. (AEM&FNV.) Didn't pull the trigger on WPM your other favourite Gold stock, on a timely fashion,
My question is this: Would you buy WPM now OR would you buy a mid cap/Junior Golds at this stage. What are your favourites in Mid/Junior tier Golds? (Similar to AEM/FNV/WPM)
The plan is hold these stocks till the deficit mess is at least partially controlled in the US. Judging by your various answers, you are still comfortable with Gold 5-10%. Hence this question.
Many thanks in advance.

Nvidia seems to be pivoting to AI factories, as they call them. Could you provide a few names of companies which will likely profit from this turn? Perhaps also with a brief description of why you find them interesting.
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,
Small-cap stocks are trading at a double-digit discount to their fair value, which seems like a great opportunity, agree?. I would appreciate your expert insights on the following six Russell 2000 companies:
OneMain Holdings (OMF), Crocs (CROX), Texas Roadhouse (TXRH), Chart Industries (GTLS), Dave Inc. (DAVE), and Inspire Medical Systems (INSP)
I am particularly interested in your views on their fundamental, growth potential, the durability of their competitive advantages (moat), and any concerns that may be worth noting.
Thank you!
Matt

Q: Hi 5i,
Thank you for your answer to my question about LMN the other day. I have one (perhaps two) more:
Does LMN acquire public companies, or does it restrict its acquisitions to those in private hands?
If LMN does acquire public companies, do you think Sylogist would be a potential or likely target?
Thanks 5i,
Peter

Q: Can I have your opinion on Spotify earnings please. Any cause for worry or does the miss seem more like a 1-off?
Q: Tax related question. Considering that now, settlement date is one day, stocks sold on July 30 will still be eligible for tax loss if the end date (for tax purpose) is July 31, yes?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: EADSF Is this a stock a buy over Ba today and why?
Q: I currently only own AMGN is the biotech/medical sector. I am considering re-entring NOVO after the hit it is taking. Would you recommend 'catching the falling knife', purchasing LLY which appears to be suffering in sympathy with NOVO or an alternate to these two?

Q: Regarding the question from Thomas about taxation of registered assets, it is possible to get authorization from the CRA to waive withholding taxes if the proceeds will be given to charity. You can submit a T1213 form along with a letter detailing your intention. The letter needs to include who your registered account is with, who you will donate the funds to, and assurance that this donation will not push you beyond the annual limit of 75% of income. You then provide the authorization received from the CRA to the RRSP issuer and they don't need to withhold taxes. I have done this the last 2 years from my RRSP, and know that many others have as well.
Q: Hello Peter & Team
Have held T since Nov 2022. I am in the red 25%. Appreciate the dividend, but do not enjoy the capital loss. Read lots of comments in 5i answered questions and the overall sentiment appears to be positive. Do I keep holding this issue? Or sell and move on. And if I am advised to move on, what alternative would you recommend with a similar dividend?
Thanks for all you do

Q: Good morning team. I'm sitting on large gains on these three in my TFSA. (thanks 5i) As might be expected their position sizes have become rather large and I am cognizant of the concern that "pigs get slaughtered"! Sooo, what to do. I sold half of Shopify some years ago and diversified into Unity Software and Lightspeed. We know how that went. Should have kept all the Shop! I'm comfortable with a large position in CSU but I'm wondering if it's time to trim some Nvidia. What are your best 3 tech ideas for diversifying my TFSA. (I also hold most of 5i's other canadian tech companies.)Also, could you suggest 3 good ideas for diversifying away from tech? Thank you, Rod
Q: I just saw the spike in CLS stock price today. I’ve been looking to buy but never did. Do you think it’s still a good time to buy or wait?
Would you sell all or some of NBIS or CLBT to buy CLS?
Thanks
