Q: Hi 5i,
Thanks for the great work. I’m looking at the precious metal component of my portfolio for tax loss selling opportunities. Can I please ask you opinion on these 5x companies?

Q: Hi,

I was sitting on a nice gain with DNG and because I am concerned about increasing political risk in Peru I decided to take the profit and sell. I would still like something in my portfolio that gives me exposure to gold. Preferably on the conservative side and with a dividend. What would your suggestions be?

Q: Dynacor, DNG. This looks like a nice small low risk and cash strong gold business. With lots of torque potential in the current macro economy and gravitation towards gold. At $1800 ++ in gold price near/mid term do you feel the same?What could I be missing?Other than gold price moving significantly lower and possible geopolitical risk.

Q: Hi 5I,
The above names are all owned in my TFSA. Of these, I am underweight in COV, IWO, PHO, SDX, SYZ AND VB. I've got some cash to put to work with a long term objective. With consideration to the sector weighting, and my under weights, would you recommend I top up on any at this time or maybe introduce a completely different name or names to the portfolio? Thanks!

Q: Can I please get your take on DNG? I have been looking for a small cap gold stock that has actually performed well over the past 10 years and it appears DNG has done just that despite being a little volatile. Being a processor instead of a mine operator it gives the impression of being more of a toll both. How is the valuation and insider ownership? Thanks
