Q: Looking at growth of these 2 companies over the last year. PBH is falling while DOL has had steady growth. Would you suggest a switch or do you see a recovery for PBH? Thanks Steve
Q: Which stocks will benefit with lots of new housing expected to be built and What other stocks will benefit from the budget?. Which stocks can possibly hurt.
Q: Hi Everyone at 5I!
I am trying to figure out the step by step process of Norbert's Gambit. I have a TD WebBroker account both CAD and USD. I want to move CAD into USD. How do I proceed? It is probably very simple and I can't see the forest because of the trees.
Cheers,
Having rode too many up and back down well below my cost , I am troubled as are most with the behavior of this stock. I was not smart enough to get in at $30 and am not barely above water. Recommend to hold past earnings.......can I assume it is panic selling ahead of earnings?
Thanks for all you do
Dennis
I know companies outside the US/Canada are not your focus but what do you know about Miniso?
My kids and all of their friends love this retailer and I was curious if you could comment on the fundamentals and if you would be a buyer for some international exposure?
Would this be considered higher risk?
Thanks for all you do, your knowledge and service is so appreciated!!
Q: Hi team ,
PRL and HPS.a are selling off after their big run ups. Are either of them approaching buying opp levels yet ? Which one would you prefer adding to if so ? If you don’t consider them at buy levels yet , what prices for each would you suggest buying each ?
Q: DFN traded over 600 thousand shares today and up 35 cents. It is not paying the 10 cents on the class a shares this month. Why would the stock go up and trade high volume?
Q: Regarding HSAV I would appreciate an explanation on what impact "premium to NAV or discount to NAV" should have on my decision on when to buy this ETF. It is currently showing "Premium/Discount to NAV" of 0.68. I would like to buy now but I am not sure if this is an ideal time.
Thank you.
Q: Are these companies worth buying on their pullbacks? Realize that they are not in your North American coverage but aren't they borderline monopolies in the global semiconductor industry and perhaps a lower risk way to play the boom in AI? Thinking of the picks and shovel companies during the gold rush.
Q: VEEV sold off with the departure of their CFO. Do investors have reason for concern? More generally, do you still feel this is a high quality technology holding?
Q: Can you recommend any stocks that would benefit if China invaded Taiwan? I was thinking along the line of military, resources, submarine, sea technology stocks, etc. But if you know of any other ones that would be great too. Thanks.
Q: I'd like your opinion on these two stocks in the renewables sector. Which one or both do you think is a preferred for a 5 year hold? Is there another company that may be positioned better for this sector? Thank you.
In your replies to questions you sometimes refer to "sleep at night stocks". Those above were so qualified, among others.
I would very much appreciate if you could provide a good list of such stocks at this point, both Canadian and U.S., in order of potential growth in 5 years or less, with a short comment summarizing your present view on each.
What do you make of the AUM release yesterday? Seems like quite a drop - however - can you explain what exactly the "opportunistic" section entails? Is this meaning people withdrawling from their holdings?
