Q: Hello 5i Team

The passive index fund industry is dominated by BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street. Seen together, these three giant, passive asset managers already constitute the largest shareholder in at least 40 percent of all U.S. listed companies and 88 percent of the S&P 500 firms. What are your thoughts in terms of the big three controlling the corporations and what happens when there is a market correction or meltdown. Would there be any buyers left and also individual stock investors could get into deep trouble.

Q: I am thinking of adding a REIT to my dividend portfolio. I have held DRG.UN for some time and it is up 75%, but it is only at a 2.3% weighting. What do you think of me adding CSH.UN or should I add to DRG.UN? Do you have another REIT you like better and why?

Q: Good day,

I currently own the subject shares in my TFSA portfolio. Are these stocks still worth hanging onto with the current volatility? I was considering selling everything and going with Vanguard or iShares.

Q: Hello,

Current portfolio is well balanced. Two sectors that are eligible for tops ups are materials and consumer discretionary. If you had to pick between wef and cliq for a long term hold, which would you choose to buy first?

Q: Hi Peter and Team,

My question is about what is the best strategy and behavior during a downturn in the markets?

From my reading of previous answered questions and on other posts on the internet, the advice seems to be, do not sell while the market is dropping. How can one be disciplined enough not to do it? What if one stock in our portfolio is dropping more that the rest during a downturn in the markets? At what point while the market is dropping, should we consider buying more quality stocks?

Q: watching these two companies share price roll over - i see a comment on PBH about quarter coming and market worried, but isn't this more about heavy debt loads whose share prices have done extremely well and the ramifications of higher rates? PBH has $480M of debt! BYD $250M
