Q: Could you please comment on this US stock?
From historical financial statement, its revenue didn't show impressive growth.
How is the industry overall and how will the US fed rate rise(assumption) and economy affect the stock?

Q: Hi 5i: Could you please comment on Trevali's 2nd Quarter results? Also, what is the outlook for zinc? While I can find information on the iron ore and copper outlook, I can't find much on zinc in the sources I have access to.

Q: Currently I have the following mix of Brookfield stocks: BAM 2.8%; BIP 3.6% and BEP 4.4%. This means that these Brookfield shares comprise 10.8% of my portfolio. Are these 3 companies diverse enough that I should keep them at these levels? When they are compared on a 3 year chart they appear to be very different.

Q: Hi Peter and the team, ABT is showing strength today as it's up a bit over 9%. Is this due to the deal signed between Absolute and AMD (the chip maker)? Q: RCPT (RECEPTOS) has an offer to purchase from Celgene (via Strix .. a subsidiary of Celgene).
RCPT is trading at $231.46 and the offer from Celgene is for $232.00 net to the holder in cash without interest (the offer price) and subject to any withholding taxes required by applicable law.
1 .. Is the offer a good one as some think it's very low?
2 .. How do I find out about the withholding taxes (as I understand sometimes there's a dividend that can take a big bite from profits)?
3 .. Would I do better just to hold the RCPT stock and sell it myself?

Q: My wife and I currently still own these energy and resource stocks: FRU, PD, IPL, ENB, PPL, SGY, BTE, CEU & TCK.b - 12.12% of our total portfolio.
Your opinion on whether to sell some/all(names), keep some/all(names) for recovery and with any sells to reinvest in sectors doing better like domestic consumer staples, et. or just sit in cash until the market settles a bit?

Q: Hello Team,
the stock has been in significant downfall, from $19 to$5, yet the financial statements appear acceptable. P/E ratio now stands at 5. I have a position in the stock and wonder whether manipulative action influences the trend(short sellers). Seeking Alpha had a scathing report on the company. What is your opinion? Hold or sell?

Q: Peter/group I just trimmed my Boyd Auto body (after making 400% (I have held it for a long time) I trimmed it by 50% so its now 7% of my portfolio. Can you recommend a stock/stocks that would offer a chance of similar performance going fwd. I have $40,00 to re invest and was thinking of leaving it in cash for a while unless you can recommend a screaming buy right now.? Thanks for your insight

Q: Noticed the questions around ROE here and your updated report. I just read the Q2 update presentation on the companies website and saw that the ROE has declined from 32% in 2005 to just above 19% in the most recent quarter in an almost steady straight line lower. HCG's stated objective is ROE above 20%. While the ROE is still high, the trend on ROE is not positive and is not meeting their stated objective. Yet you give it an A rating and an avg ROE of 24.7% over 5 yrs. Is the downward trend in ROE a concern to you and the team?
