Q: Hi 5i,

I've read through your previous comments on the company and I was wondering:

1) What do you perceive as the key drivers to this company's performance?
2) What do you think explains the rollercoaster that the share price has gone through?
3) What should I pay attention to if I want to decide whether the company will right the ship and re-establish its momentum?

Thanks!

Q: Hi, could you list your 5-6 favourite sectors today. Also just wondering, do you see any signs of a sector rotation anytime soon? Or is it too hard to predict? Just checking cause Technology seems to have had a long and positive run, while Oil&Gas seems to have lagged for quite some time? ( I could be mistaken).
It seems to me when a sector falls out of favour it sometimes takes a long time to recover?

Q: Any stocks dropping that you feel represent a good buying opportunity? Perhaps something being sold that is an ‘overreaction’ or will look like a good buy in a year or so from now? Thanks

Q: Could you speak to the issue of how Canadian investors should respond to proposed tariffs by the Trump administration before March 4th and after March 4th, assuming tariffs are implemented. Please give an example of the type of companies you would sell and buy? Thanks

Q: Hello,
I have a question about adding fixed income to a portfolio.
My registered portfolio is all equities, mostly large cap dividend payers and some growthier names thanks to 5i, reasonably well diversified, a little heavy on financials.
I am happy with the results and will be relying on it as my main source of retirement income in about 5 years.
I am thinking it is time to gradually add some fixed income, to decrease volatility somewhat and increase predictability, targeting a 70/30 equity/fixed income split over time.
Would like to keep it simple with ideally 2 ETFs, was thinking XBB or ZAG plus something else.
I see that the Canadian Money Saver portfolio uses XBB, CBO, CPD and XHY for fixed income.
What would you pair with XBB/ZAG in this scenario?
Is a US fixed income component a good idea?
What do you think of combining a passive bond universe ETF with an actively managed ETF/fund?

Thanks as always.

Q: I found a couple of stocks that I would like to put on my watch list. First is Sentinel One Inc. . It had a quarterly report not to long a go. The stock seemed to have a good report and the market seem to approve the quarterly report, but then sold off and has been going downward. Can you tell me what you know about this company, and the reason it went down in value.
Second stock is Five 9, it too seemed to have a good quarterly report and now is selling off. Again if you can elaborate on this company. With both of these stocks are they a buy, sell, to hold.
The other thing I should note, I was thinking of buying them for a trade not a long term hold.

Thank You very much for you good service, I'll await your reply.
Earl

Q: Hi 5i, and would welcome your review of the recent Quarterly results from Sprout Social, and whether you would consider it as a buy/ hold/ or sell. Do you see any red flags or concerns and the merits as a long-term hold and any competitive advantage that they may hold in the space they operate in? Thanks kindly.
