Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

We need to increase our Telecom exposure in our non-registered account. Is Telus investable today for a long-term hold, or should we wait for a pullback? Alternatively, since we also need to increase our US exposure, would you be OK with VOX (or similar ETF) instead of T, or would tax consequences make VOX or another US-based ETF a poor choice in an unregistered account? As always, thanks for your valued advice.

Q: At present my only position in materials is a 2.5 % weight in FNV, and am looking at adding one position. I am considering one of these 4. I have heard that Lun had some issues in Chile and am a bit concerned that Teck.B might have a bit of a drag from coal being out of favour with ESG considerations;. Do you think these concerns are meaningful? In any event, of the 4, which one would you want to choose, and why? Thanks for your excellent service.

Q: My question involves a Co. which has doubled in value and pays a 4% dividend.

Example Paid $5. per share with 4% dividend. Now Co. worth $10. so dividend
rate is now 8%.

Hold or sell the Co.? What is your rational on long term holds where the dividend effectively doubles with the doubling of the fmv of the stock?

Q: I found this in the CIBC today's report on BOS. Could this be the reason of the 15%+ pop today? If so, do the Americans know that BOS, in spite of its name - Air Boss of America - is a Canadian company"? Under buy American first, how can BOS be considered a potential vendor? Nevertheless, here is the quote:

"BOS has been named one of three vendors selected to bid on a U.S.
government surgical gown contract. This notice of intent from the U.S. government reinforces our view that BOS has proven to be a key supplier for PPE (personal protective equipment) and there remains strong demand for medical supplies given the need to stockpile inventory. We rate BOS as Outperformer with a C$55 price target."

Just wonder?
