Q: Just finished the book '100-baggers'. As a buy and hold guy, the 'coffee can portfolio' approach is relatable. If you guys could purchase 10 Canadian stocks to not touch for the next 5-10 years which stocks would you include? Thanks.

Q: With the value of the spin-outs and splits from this stock considered over the last ten years is it possible to rate the total or annualized return of having owned this name during that time, which I've done, but also traded around?

Q: What is your view of the opportunity created by the resignation of the Japanese PM on Japanese equities and if positive what Canadian dollar ETF plays would you suggest for that market. Some commentators believe this creates the need for fiscal stimulus there which should increase their equities generally and substantially. Secondly it was suggested that as a result Japan's status as a large buyer of US treasuries will diminish. Do you agree and how might that affect US equities. Q: Hi Peter/ Ryan I have a margin acc't with BAM, BEP.UN, CM, CNQ, and RY and need the dividends from the bigger players. Q: Hello Peter,
If an analyst/portfolio manager that is a guest on BNN has selected a stock for a top pick several times, and all of a sudden decides not to take any calls on the stock, what does that mean? BNN's response is really neutral so am wondering.. I would be more comfortable for a guest to take a call and if he/she does not own it for any reason, I think that would be the right thing to do. Small caps are risky so it is understandable and circumstances can change. This is a general question. Thanks for your views.

Q: Hi, your opinion of the recent acquisition of Gage growth by TER?
Given Gage had a very strong presence in Michigan, will this improve in any way TER's 'Profitability Ratios' (as seen on your Companies page)? Will this move the needle on this stock over time? The 6 month chart does not look so good but the longer time frame charts are still impressive.
Also, should one be concerned about stocks that trade on the CNX exchange? Some of your better recommended weed stocks trade on this exchange, ie TRUL, GTII.
The only spec weed stock I have is VFF (Village Farms (small position)).

Q: I have three 1 percentage type holdings in trox, ichr, and uctt. I am trying to get down to 25 holdings as well. Q: Where you see evidence of a sell iceberg order for a micro or small cap, should a shareholder be concerned that maybe the seller knows something that I don't. Right now, I see that with Geodrill. On the surface the shares look quite undervalued, yet the iceberg sell is in place.
