Q: I am getting older and I am trying to simplify my accounts in case my wife or daughter have to take over for whatever reason. I am moving to VBAL and VGRO as all in one type ETFs to make that happen. My question is about taxing: how are these viewed by the CRA?
Q: Hello 5i Guys
I have GIC maturing soon and looking for substitute as rates are too low.
I've looked at ZCS and ZLC as replacement.
I understand Bond funds are not without risk compared to GCI
But do these 2 Bonds funds look like suitable (Low Risk) investments rather than a low rate GIC?
Thanks as ever
Ken

Q: I read a bit of Michael Burry's perspective on Molina Healthcare. I would appreciate your thoughts on the company as well as a long term investment.
If you see long term potential I'd also appreciate your perspective on entry points, both pricing and timing.

Q: Thoughts on Mastercard? I've had a "medium"-size position for several years and treated it more as a "buy-and-forget" stock. I'm thinking the recent 10% cap proposed in the US is likely just noise, but made me look at Mastercard again.
Do you think this is a good time to add to a long-term position in Mastercard or better to wait for a larger potential pullback?

Q: What are your thoughts on Visa and JP Morgan - are these a buy on weakness due to rate cap announcement ( selling overdone?) or should positions be paired back?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I would like to confirm that income from covered call ETFs is treated as capital gains and/or ROC, and income from preferred shares is treated as eligible dividends. If this is correct, I would see them as candidates for both non-registered and registered accounts.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I'm interested in possibly buying Giax but would like your assessment of this etf. Thanks for your valuable information/opinion
Q: What implications do you see on the upcoming Supreme Court ruling for Tariffs? What markets or sectors do you see as being the most affected.
Thank you
Thank you

Q: Hello 5i. I'm below on my fixed income. ZAG is almost 7% of my total portfolio but I am looking to increase this to almost 10%. Is this too high for a single ETF, and/or are you still happy with ZAG, or would you suggest an alternative. I'm looking for something fairly safe with a reasonable yield. Thanks again for your excellent service. John.
Q: Any news on savaria and is this a new all time high?

Q: Hello
I have owned CNQ for awhile
it is volatile and not going anywhere as compared to SU
is it worth while to switch to IMO.to and CVX (US); for abit of dividend and capital growth, very disappointed by CNQ's performance
the pipeline, if being built, shovels will not be in the ground until 2029
thanks
Michael

Q: We have accumulated 11 healthcare stocks and 1 ETF, While LLY and ISRG are at half positions the rest are at initial 25% positions. Please advise [help!] us get to a more concentrated portfolio with a 3+ year horizon for reasonable opportunities in healthcare
Q: Was the conversion to a Corp. a taxable event? They are rather cagey on it.
Q: I've been going through my portfolio and reevaluating if some of the stocks should continued to be held or sold; one such is BYD. I've held it for over 5 years, earned some money on the dividends but its still in the red. Do you think BYD should still be held or do you have any recommendations for its replacement?
Q: Just for fun. In your opinion what is the:

Thanks,
David

Q: With almost a 7% Dividend, is it a good choice? In TFSA or RRIF to avoid W/H Taxes?
Thanks Kindly!

Q: I wanted to get your take on RKLB. I’m currently up 95% on my position, but with the recent parabolic move, I’m starting to feel it’s taking on 'meme stock' characteristics and getting ahead of its fundamentals.
My instinct is that a hard pullback is coming soon. I’m considering closing the position now to lock in these gains and looking to re-enter after a period of consolidation. Given the upcoming Neutron flight window and the Feb 26th earnings, how would you approach 'top-slicing' here versus holding through the volatility?"
