Q: Positive news for gambling sites with bill C-218 passing today. Its likely not to be implemented for a few months yet, to give time for the provinces to set their own rules. Predicted to be a 4B-5B annual market in Canada.

I have strong conviction in EGLX, the future growth in years to follow with gaming, e-sports and now legal single-game betting. Full position already, in a TFSA, looking for torque, and willing to wait. What's not to like?!

Q: I'm up about 60% on GSY, my current largest holding. I'd like to reduce it a bit and start a position in STLC. I know these two companies are not directly comparable, but as an investment do you think STLC's SP can out gain GSY in the next two years? As well, what's you overall opinion on these wo companies? Q: My ETF RRSP Portfolio is doing okay but when I compare to your Balanced Portfolio its return % is much less. I suspect that this is as expected because of the large number of stocks that make up ETFs and your experience is compiling the BE portfolio with a basket of about 25 5i-researched stocks.

1. If an investor was to implement your balanced portfolio should the initial % weightings be used or the current weighting %s? For example TFII is currently at about 8% but it has increased 140% since added.

2. Are there any holdings that you may be considering reducing or adding at the moment?

Q: Add to a sector and stock in the doghouse recently or pump it into one with some recent momentum. In my registered account, +5yr hold. I own both and just need to decide where to put some cash I have in the account and too samll of an amount to add a new name. I unfortunately added engh just before the tech selloff so am down almost 20%, ENB I added in the lows back in oct and has done really well with the sector rally and paying a silly yields as well. So add to ENB and hope the ride continues or top up ENGH a well run company in a beat up sector?

Q: Shopify has crept up close to 10% of my portfolio. I have already taken back more than my original investment. I know that from a portfolio management position it should be trimmed, but is there any case to hold it long term, or is it best to trim and re-allocate.

My book value is low on it and it is in Non-taxable account.

My logic is letting a some concentrated positions run to outperform the market, but I also see the risk of a major correction in a momentum stock.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

Our local pharmacy is in a building owned by Northwest Healthcare Properties, and noticed that the door opening devices have been changed from the kind you needed to touch to push, to the new type where you only need to wave your hand without touching - a great improvement, especially due to Covid. I've also noticed this device at the restroom door at a local Swiss Chalet.

My question is this: are there any companies or ETFs in Canada or the US that are engaged in these infrastructure improvements that seem to be gaining wide acceptance?

Q: I’m looking for a US value based ETF that will outperform the overall market if the rotation into value continues, but should just the same be a solid long term (5-10 year) hold regardless of how the growth/value trade plays out in the future. What would be your preference between IWN, IWS, VTWV or is there something else you would suggest?

Q: I have a portfolio weighted to US Tech Growth stocks. About a year ago, I sold some companies and moved 10% of my cash into 1) Gold (HEP) 2) Short term bonds (HFR), and 3) a Banking ETF (ZWB) to diversify. These three have proven to be losers for me. Does it make sense to keep any of these three for continued diversification or are there better ways to round out the portfolio with a bit of a safety net? Thanks!
