Q: Based on increased weather volatility I would have thought Generac's business would be booming, however the price of the stock and momentum does not reflect this. Is this a buying opportunity or have I missed something? Would you buy at this level or are there other companies in the sector that you would prefer. Thanks for your analysis.

Q: Can I get your quick comments on these companies? I'm down on these between 20-45%. Do you think they are still worth holding or looking to clean up these weeds and deploy into other higher quality names. Thanks!

Q: Can you give your thoughts on INMD's earnings today? The market isn't liking the continued rev and profit deceleration, and again lowered guidance. They blame economic forces but this pre dates Trump and the recent pullback, so one has to believe their previous products keep losing brand power. They have a lot of cash, and they bought back a lot of shares but its seeming like a bit of a value trap since the buybacks aren't making up for the business decel. They released a newer product in the last year but at this point we have no clue if its going to do well. Is this still a hold for you? Thx

Q: Hi Peter et al,

You folks are very knowledgeable about Long Short Options and other hedging techniques. With that in mind, may I ask for your opinion about Simplify ETFs for income. I was impressed by Michael Greene's interview on Danny Moses' podcast.
(On the tape with Danny Moses).

Looked at his website and he seems to offer a lot of income generating ETFs based on solid instruments. (Bonds, Treasuries and Solid stocks). HIGH, BUCK, CRDT, AGGH etc.,

The MER seems reasonable. But only available in USD.

Worth dipping in? Which one would you as their best offering?

If you think there are better alternatives here in Canada or even in the US, please feel free to share your suggestions.

Many thanks.

Q: Given that they had been put into the penalty box because of past transgressions with account openings, I had a thesis that WFC would benefit significantly from the Trump administration plan to deregulate. Unfortunately, my timing was off, the shares had already increased and dropped after I invested. At this point I wonder if I should abandon my thesis and move to another financial holding. In your view, would GS be a better investment? And why? Alternatively, although Regional banks were hit hard in the past, FITB seems to be favourably viewed; would that be better than WFC or GS? And if so, why? This is in a TFSA and looking for growth, not income. Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Seeking your guidance and insight on my poor investment made in Dow Inc. I made to increase exposure in materials back in March 2022. I'm sadly down 50% in my registered account on DOW. I’m weighing whether to hold long-term or if this might be a permanent value trap and loss? The stock offers a high dividend, but I’m concerned about the risk of a potential cut. (classic) Since it’s in a registered account, I can’t write off the loss. Could you share your thoughts on continuing to hold through an entire cycle and the outlook over 2-5 years and any strategic considerations for my situation? Do I book the loss or hold on that their situation improves in due time. Much appreciated.

Q: Recently a BNN guest was making the case for investing in UnitedHealth after the big decline in share price. Do you view this as one that an investor with a long term view could begin picking away at now, or do you feel things have changed fundamentally and it should be avoided at least for now?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Q: Hello Team,

Are you able to rank the above companies in order on which one you would purchase today, looking for great possible return over the next 2-3 year. Plus 2 of your other favourite US stocks.

Thanks

Q: The monthly cost of owning a home in the US is now apparently 40% more than renting. Can you comment on your view as to whether this fact sets up a buying opportunity for companies that provide rental properties in the US. Can you also suggest a few such companies to consider and provide your best pick therefrom. Finally for each suggestion could you indicate whether their residential focus is single family or multiple and which one you believe has the most upside ahead. Many thanks.

Q: hello 5i:
Last question asked on GEV was on January 25th. Can you please update your views with respect to P/E, Cash Flow and Free Cash Flow? Debt looks tiny, can you confirm?
Last, I have a small position in HPS.A. Is GEV a direct competitor, and would a US company benefit from the threatened tariffs on other countries? Adding your general opinion on the stock and on the industry would be appreciated.
thanks
Paul L.
