Q: I would like to bump up my energy holdings in RRSPs, looking at CNQ and VET.
I'm leaning towards VET because of higher yield and lower debt. Your comments would be appreciated and thanks for the great service guys!
Q: I wonder what your thoughts might be on this co. they have some production from both n.e. B.C. & Texas they have had some recent exploration success in northeastern b.c. I am somewhat concerned with their debt levels specifically 8.42 mill. of short term.
Q: On April 19 I asked a question about renewal power and you offered bep.un as a likely candidate. My question was more along the lines of, if I am going to move from pipelines towards renewal power in my utilities sector allocations, are aqn and bep.un too similar to have a good representation. I suppose they are no more similar than, say, enbridge and transcanda would be in the same sector. But, would be interested in your take on this question in regard to constructing a renewable energies component under the utilities sector.
thanks once again for your great insight and help
Q: Hi Peter, Ryan can I get your opinion and outlook on QEC and its latest news. I've held this stock since 08 and it has survived thru all that's happened. My adjusted cost is 1.69. At this point when would you get out of this stock, or would you ride it higher. Thanks, Nick
Q: With its geographical diversity, producing both oil and gas, and Brent pricing for about half of its oil production, would you consider Vermilion to be a good (best?) Canadian all-in-one energy producer holding?
Could you please explain (if not to complex) why the halving on the discount between WCS and WTI did not result in a decent bounce in Canadian Oil Producing Stocks.
Q: Hi great guys,
Heard recently that China was planning to switch from coal to natural gas.
If so would this or another natural gas company, which one, greatly benefit.
Harold
Q: Energy Sector - I am hearing that in 2020 the IMO will be enforcing ban on ships that use fuel with higher sulfur content. To take advantage of this can you recommend refiners that will benefit as well those oil companies producing more light oil. Thanks AJD
Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
I am looking to add one oil producer and one natural gas producer
to a conservative, income producing portfolio. I am looking for sustainable dividend growth over time. Which names would fit this criteria ??? Thank you. DL
