Q: Hi Team,
The last couple days I am seeing a drastic sell off in oil producers, and what seems to be a rotation into investors buying up the most beat down tech names. Do you see this rotation continuing? Is it time to dump oil stocks and buy back into tech / growth names?

Q: Hi, Energy sector was creamed today with 5% decline on the top of 15-20% drop over past week. I also learnt from CNBC that many large investors are buying significant amount of September Puts. We trimmed 25% of our 10% Energy weighting, selling XLE, XEG,CNQ and TOU, mostly at market open. Do you believe , Energy sector could be range bound for near term and has further downside ? Would it be prudent to cut the sector weight to 5%, in General, without being specific to our portfolio ? Which companies would you reduce, in order of priority, among, CNQ, TOU and SU, based on balance sheets and possible further downside caused by Oil/Gas price and recession ? Thanks
Q: Hi, With recent drop in Oil/Gas prices, would it be prudent to reduce exposure to Large E&P and Integrated names and increase ENB weighting, so we have Energy exposure but with limited downside. In your Balanced Equity Portfolio, I noticed that ENB weight is about 7.5% and you appear to be comfortable with that. Thank You
Q: On a company like ATH what do you think investors would rather see a small dividend or share buy backs. Which would have a greater impact on the share price?

Suncor Energy Inc. (SU $39.49)
Q: Hello there, trying to decide which of these winners to either sell in total or sell in part. In order of first to last which would you suggest selling with perhaps some reasoning. I also have ENB but will stick with it for the foreseeable future.
Many thanks,

Q: With the high volume oil sell off today it feels like a rotational market capitulation is nearing the last gulp. Or an overvalued market is continuing to adjust PE to normal. What do you think we have here?

Q: Tamarack is down 8% today. Any reason? Is it time to buy? As always, your insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: if the u.s. or canada eliminated the gas tax, this would cause less demand destruction as more people would drive as the price of gasoline would drop, hence supply would get even tighter-so my question is why is the price of oil down 5 dollars this am on this news. dave
Q: Hey 5i: Currently down 20% range would you suggest buy hold or crystalize a sell and best switch options ? Thanks Larry

Q: Hello 5i,
Could I get your future outlook on PXT given the recent election of a leftest government in Columbia. Market is very negative on the stock today (-10% as of writing).
Given that approx. 30% of Columbia's government revenues come from the taxation of Oil, I find it hard to believe that the new government would do anything to endanger it's revenue stream when it will be sorely need to pay for election promises made. I think the market is overreacting on this one.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Q: In a registered portfolio looking for income and capital preservation, to whatever extent possible; how would you rate current price for an entry point? Charts indicate a downtrend but I believe oil demand will continue. Would mid $60's compel you to add to or initiate a position?
