Q: My question is on WELL’s recent earnings report. With a revenue run rate of $300M, doesn’t this give WELL a forward-looking P/S ratio of less than 5? This sounds incredibly cheap for a high-growth, small cap company. What am I missing? Trailing revenue run rate was only $50M. Has the big jump in revenue already been priced in?
Q: Any news on REAL? It has only one, which unfortunately is down for 8 months. It's basically at the same level since last February, while the real estate market it's booming. Something doesn't add up
Q: What an unexpected surprise. Do you reccommend we sell the stock in the market place, now that it will find a bid or shall we hold for the cash takeout?
Q: Looks like BYD and DOL are both rallying into their earnings. I am expecting a good dividend increase from DOL but not sure what to expect from BYD. What does 5i think?
Also, do you think BYD can actually grow their stores by 700 over the next five years?
Thanks Keith
Q: Hello,
After the recent acquisition and subsequent stock jump, would you still keep SYZ in your portfolio or would sell it and replace it with something else? If the latter, what would a good replacement be in your opinion?
Thank you
Q: Hi,
I noticed other questions covering the fact GSY was added to the index and that we might expect a bit of pick up and / or increased volume with it. However, it seemed to drop fairly hard on Friday and I am wondering if I've missed something material here. Interested in your thoughts and as always appreciate the input! Thanks,
Dawn
Q: 5i team, can you help me understand how to interpret the numbers associated with some of these high flying growth stocks discussed in this forum on a regular basis?
Let's take WELL as an example of many. Mkt cap 1.3B/Rev.42.9M/EPS -.07/Price-sales 30.6/ Op Mgn -22.3%
So, my question is, what is the path to WELL growing into this market cap, or any of the other key metrics? Or am I asking the wrong question?
Q: Was the conference call quite negative i.e. did the company project negative earning or a negative outlook for the next year? The stock is dropping even though the earnings report was quite positive. Is it the dropping US dollar? Thanks ,as always.
Dave
Q: What do you know of XBC's management? How would you rate them, both excluding what is happening now and including current affairs?
In your report on the company in December 2020, you state:
Management is well-seasoned and has public company experience, including former top executives (CEO, CFO, COO) of various energy and industrial companies like CAE Inc (CAE) and McPhy Energy North America. Have they ever experienced anything like what they are going through with XBC now? How important is the involvement of CDPQ who invested $50M?
5i advanced XBC as a top growth company, as recently as March 10. Your report outlines your reasoning back in 2020. Obviously it's a different picture today. Any lessons learned?
Q: Do you have any insight on who was stepping into Xebec today in order to stop the bleeding (wed)? Just curious if it were management, retailers etc.
Thanks
