Q: I am a long time holder of FC and it has been fine for income but the stock is down this year and virtually hasn't moved in seven years. I was considering a switch to Atrium for a similar dividend and a slow but steadily increasing share price. Your thoughts?

Q: Hello 5i,
In response to Dale's question this morning about Alaris: when I read the press release I interpreted the comment about the $2 million in distributable cash to be some of the monies flowing from the partners to Alaris and not an increase in the distribution to shareholders. Perhaps their wording was a little ambiguous or perhaps I totally misinterpreted. Could you please confirm either way for me? I know they talked about their "run rate"? being under 90% now, but again, the wording left me a little confused as to whether that confirmed a shareholder distribution increase or not.

Q: Hi Team,
I'm looking to add few names to my growth fund. I already own many of your suggestions. How do you feel about DSG, BDT, CJT and CAE? From a growth perspective for 2 to 3 years, do you like them? Would you invest here? How would you rank them?

Q: I am considering buying ENF. I know 5I prefers ENB but my reasoning is that...
1} ENF has a higher dividend and is committed to the same 10% annual increase
2} Though ENF has shown related volatility it hasn't been as extreme as ENB
3} ENF is well off it's highs and offers a 7% yield while I wait. So I don't really see it as solely income.
My questions are
1} How if any does the debt of ENB which seems to have investors spooked effect ENF and does ENF have debt investors may or should be concerned with ?
2} ENF is issuing shares. Why should I pay a premium now rather than waiting til the shares hit the market and buying after investors digest the dilution ?

Q: Hi 5i,

I have been a long term holder of KEY. I hold it for longer term cap gain (not big gain, but gain), and dividend.

I am still in positive territory, but I am concerned about the decline in price from $45 down to $35. $35 appears to be a multi year technical (chart) floor.

I have read all your recent answers to the questions on KEY. I would summerize as a lower risk longer term revenue stream play.

Should I be concerned about it breaking through the $35 floor ? Is there something else I should be aware of ? Would you recommend changing to another equite in the same sector (please deduct as many questions as you see fit).

Q: I currently hold the above etf's, which totals 25% of portfolio. Equities held are US and Canadian and am invested in all sectors with financials@17%,Tech 10% and Utilities 8%. Remaining 40% equally allocated to the other sectors. Am looking at reducing ETF's and would appreciate your thoughts on which ones are good holds and which could be sold due to over diversification! Thanks for your valuable input!
