Q: Hi 5i Team:
I have about 2% of RCI.B in my portfoilio, and it seems keep going down. And I have lost some 20% of it. Should I take the loss? I also own GIB.A with a gain of 68%, I wonder if I should take the gain on this one.
Please take enough points for my questions.
Thank you.
LL

Q: Hi 5i,
Thank you for the great work. Could you walk through if you prefer Parkland or Alimentation Couche Tard today?
I've held Parkland for a couple years and seen the company under perform ATD.B. Considering switching the position and would love your perspective. Thank you.

Q: Hi. I owm both of these at the moment in an RRSP since the split a few months ago. If I was to only own one which one makes most sense and why? Thank you.
Q: ON 11 September I asked you to recommend several Canadian listed health care stocks, which you provided, thank you. I should also have asked you if you agree with David Rosenberg that this category of stocks could be "the next big stock market winners"?
Q: What are your thoughts on this ETF. My expectation is for a volatile market through Q1, 2021 and TXF would offer stability and income.
Q: I have been using the LIT ( Lithium & Battery etf ) to play EV in a general sense. It has been OK but not experiencing the same lift as many EV high flyers . Although lately its started to move . Is there a better general play on EV sector ? thoughts
Thanks
Thanks
Q: What is your opinion of MFI? It's SP continues to slip. I know of their decision to not ship pork to China but is there something I'm not aware of or is the China decision the reason for the weakness?

Q: In the balanced portfolio, there are 25 Companies. Of these companies, which do you anticipate raising or restoring their dividends, and which companies do you feel are ripe for M&A, either way, to buy or be bought?
I see that TFII has been active, as well as SIS raised the dividend by 4.3% yesterday.
Thanks for taking the time to provide the insight.

Q: Hello 5i Team
A new IPO was announced on September 04 for Flagship Communities Real Estate Investment Trust, a Canadian REIT for US Manufactured Home Communities (proposed TSX symbol MHC.U).
Other than a press release, a marketing presentation, the preliminary prospectus and an appraisal report (all available on SEDAR), I could not find any other information.
The estimated price range will be US$15 - US$17 as per my broker's IPO center.
What are 5i's thoughts on this issue?
Given the scarcity of information, would it be better to wait for the issue to start trading, before initiating a position?
Thanks

Q: Hello 5i team,
Following PBH recent buy of ALLSEAS FISHERIES, do you think it increases or decreases the probability of PBH buying CLR? CLR could now be a good fit to increase vertical integration of their increasing seafood business. CLR maximisation of shareholder’s value process seems to be stretching over a long period. Do you see it as a bad sign, or simply a sign of a complicated process due to rules on Canadian ownership of quotas? What is your guess probability that CLR is ending up being bought? Is a combination with High Liner a good/natural fit? Which Canadian companies do you perceive as potential buyers?
Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: Honda has been a bit under the radar in my perception with all the recent news going to the developments in the electric car or battery segments for GM, TSLA, et al. One financial site, Yahoo Finance, has their highest "buy" rating on Honda despite their relatively quietude. What are your thoughts on Honda's current value?
Q: In which order would you add to the following holdings? I’m most interested in long term growth. Thanks
ATD, ATA, BYD, CCL, GSY, GUD, PHO, SIS

Q: When you last commented on Neo Performance Materials back in late July, you noted that "revenues have been declining since 2018 which is a trend we do not like to see."
The Q2 results reported Aug. 10th show the revenue decline continuing. Despite that, the price has risen more than 25% from late July. Is this purely sector driven, or are other factors at play?
Marc.
