Q: Dropped from a high of 59.00. Today they announced a strategic partnership with internet giant Alibaba in China.
Has been dropping and I would think @this time of year it should gaining re Christmas season. Is there some warning signs here, and would indicate there may be problems coming down the PIPE

Q: I know you've made sector percentage allocation recommendations in the past (always with caveats), but i can't seem to find them. So I apologize for what will no doubt be repetitive for you. What sector allocation percentages would you recommend for a retiree with no immediate needs for cash but needing to keep things pretty conservative due to advancing age and increasing health issues? I will keep your reply on file!

Q: What is your opinion on the HSE offer for MEG. I have owned a 0.5 position for many years...with my other major oil and gas holding as full position in SU. Is the drop today an over-reaction and time to add a bit on the dip? It has had a good run and the dividend is back.

Q: Good afternoon 5i
Kelly today asked a question regarding Transcontinental. In your answer you said that you would prefer another package because they seem to be having trouble with their acquisition. I was thinking about selling Transcontinental for a tax loss and buying it back in a month. After your answer I was wondering to what extent you had lost confidence in Transcontinental? Would buying it back after 30 days look like a dangerous proposition to you, now?

Q: Hi 5i - I have a portfolio weighting question. Assuming I have a portfolio with 60% Canadian, 30% US and 10% Other International, would the 60% Canadian portion be considered on its own for individual stock weightings? For example, if I consider a 5% position in BNS a full position, should I have 5% of my total overall portfolio in BNS or 5% of the 60% Canadian portfolio?

In general, what would you suggest?
