Q: Hi Team,
I am looking to invest in Europe for the first time in a few years. I have held XEU and FEZ. The biggest difference between them seems to be that FEZ includes only 50 large stocks (ASML is 10%) and excludes the UK. Over the last 6 months, XEU has begun to outpace FEZ. Which one do you prefer for a new position? Or would you suggest splitting the investment into both?
Q: I’m looking to add a Canadian stock with great potential to compound over the next 5 years or more. I already own stocks such as TFII, ATD, BN and CSU. Which do you think has is the best opportunity to start a new position along GSY, DOL or TRI? Or maybe WSP? Please rank and/is there another I should maybe consider?
Q: Hi 5i Team,
Pls comment on North American Construction Group quarterly earning report and this company going forward, would you be comfortable owning this stock.
Q: In a previous question I asked a few months ago,
- One of the questions I asked was :
- What Companies do you think was a screaming Buy... And You said SMCI...
- Good call!
- Now my Question is : Currently in this environment, What would you suggest is a Screaming Buy.. - In any Sector, Based on current stock price and valuation
Q: As far as the Discount Dollar Stores goes, I know and shop at Dollarama(Canadian)..., I have never experienced Five Below(US Based)...
- I used to like Dollarama as a Consumer, but its starting to get a bit pricey on items I regularly purchased... Not a fan of the price increases, but I still shop there for certain value...
Questions:
1. Which of the 2 companies would you suggest buying, based on valuation, stock price , growth , future and safety...
2. Buy Both or One
3. Crystal ball : Could you see any of the 2 to be takeover targets in future?
Q: With a record immigration numbers and very few pre-construction sales due to the spook that high rates have put into real estate investors, there is a massive shortage of new housing units that has yet to be felt by the market (in my opinion). I think this is a uniquely Canadian problem and wonder if you see any companies poised to outperform when rates are falling and housing starts begin to pick up? Could you name 3-4 companies that would benefit in different ways when the shortage of available housing starts to translate into a rapid increase in units built?
Q: Lots of questions here -
What is the timeline for the cost cutting measures?
What are the metrics that describe the potential financial impact of the measures?
How would you rate the proposed measures are adequate to turn things around (low chance = 1, high = 5)?
All else equal, can you guess how BCE's stock price could go up with a drop in BoC interest rates, say by 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3%?
Thanks a lot. Your guidance is superb.
Q: Hi 5i
In your opinion do you think there is a strategic nature to leaked news of a potential " acquiring " of Nuvie?
As you mentioned the stock had been falling for a week to around $29.5 canadian now up today up around 28%....
....However If this news would have leaked 2 weeks ago at sp of around $36 canadian i believe management would have a harder time convincing shareholder that a potential $30 US take over price is a great price....
Am I dreaming ? Can you provide some commentary....
Q: Hi 5i, and would welcome your review of the recent Quarterly results from SentinelOne, and whether you would consider it as a buy/ hold/ or sell. Do you see any red flags or concerns with the future business prospects or in achieving their march to eventual profitability, and the merits as a long-term hold and any competitive advantage that they may hold in the cybersecurity space. Thanks kindly.
Q: Hi, does TD Direct trading Canada offer U.S. high interest savings accounts in addition to their Canadian offerings (eg. TD 8150, 8155). If so, what are the symbols. Thanks.
Q: How do I know if this stock is priced cheap, fair or expensive. For a general quick idea what metric should I use for this and other similiar stocks so I don't have to ask 5I every time I look at a stock.
