Q: Hi gang, have $200,000.00 canadian to invest for 2-3 years. Just want to invest 50-50 Canada-USA. Would like to be as safe as possible. Some stocks and some ETF. If possible dividend paying one. Thanks

Q: Greetings 5i,

Tesla just reported Q1. Trading down even though it looks like Elon beat expectations. Some controversy on Seeking Alpha regarding what alalysts were expecting vs realistic expectations. So lots of varied opinions and Tesla is down about 9 or 10%. Im still up about 15% as Im recently in, but I dont hold alot of conviction in this name vs something with more of a realistic valuation such as Berkshire or Sunlife/Manulife or maybe even one of the Brookfield subs. So a 2 part question. What does 5i think of this quarter and Tesla overall. Would you switch to one of the above mentioned names or hold for another quarter and re-evaluate?

As always take as many credits as required.

Q: I am looking to more real estate to protect from massive inflation from money printing everywhere. I already have PM's and already have a bunch of Canadian Reits . I am looking to buy more in the US. I already have STOR and SPG ,I am thinking about COLD and Gladstone land corporation LAND mainly because I am from agriculture and Michael Bury has taken an interest in this company.I know it's out of your scope but any opinion would be appreciated.

Q: MAW105 is supposed to be more tax efficient but how can it be since the distribution under that fund is greater than under MAW104 or MAW130.
MAW104 is a fund of funds while the other 2 hold the securities. What is the difference between the global balanced fund and the tax efficient one.
What will be the best one for a non registered account and for an rrsp. Why?

Q: I'm looking to reduce the overall amount of positions. Of my tech names which would you suggest selling?

From what I can gather you prefer NVDA to AMD and would suggest one of either SHOP or LSPD. Is this accurate? Other suggestions or ideas to pair down?

Q: I am up 145% on TTD (thanks!) and it is now 10% of my portfolio. Should I sell 25% or 50% of it, and if so, what should I buy to replace it? My other US tech holdings are PINS, VEEV, ICHR, PLTR, AMZN, FB, APPL. My US tech is the largest part of my growth sector, is there hole to fill in my list?
