Q: Hello 5i,

I have some play money in my cash account, I'm looking at purchasing 2 or 3 small caps or stocks around $1 in price (or under). Can you give me your top 5 Canadian companies that you think have the greatest upside over the next few years. I will take a look and pick the ones I think will work out best. Thanks again.

Q: What do you think of this holding company and portfolio of investments? Comments on recent earnings? I see some metrics that catch my eye, low p/e, trading below book, some insider buying, increasing revenue.....could you please comment on these and any others you might think would be important. I have a small position and it's down slightly and I'm thinking of averaging down, would you consider it a buy, hold or sell at this point?

Q: Hello 5i,

We have GOOGL and AMZN are in our TFSA's but they are too expensive to add and we do not want to sell. We are retiring and will not have excess funds to add to these positions in a TFSA.

Can you recommend an ETF that has high content of Goog (15%+) and AMZN 10%+) that can be purchased in an RRSP? We do not need AAPL and MSFT as we have VGT?

The other option is may be to purchase GOOGL and AMZN in our USD RRSP though we would prefer an ETF for diversification.

Q: Hi folks, can please your expertise of Q1 results for Verano vrno/c...the results seemed to beat estimates...and appear to be place the company in Top Tier of US Cannabis stocks, with Trulieve, Green Thumb, Curaleaf. Hard for US Pot companies to make profit without SAFE Act & relief from 280 Tax....would you rate Verano Buy/Hold/Sell....thanks as always..jb Piedmont QC

Q: Earlier you commented on the earnings saying that the market may not like their revenue miss from $35.4M from and expected $36.2M.
On the other hand, they bought a company as big as them. Since that deal closed on March 31, it was not accretive to the earnings released yesterday BUT they guided considerable higher on revenue and EBITDA for the year.
Wouldn't increasing the future guidance have more of and effect on the stock price than earnings of a quarter where the puchase was not accretive?
