Q: Ishares US REAL ESTATE ETF (not in your data base)
can you comment on this ETF for a diversified real estate play. Do you view this as a decent entry point.
What's your view of starting a portfolio of these 5 ETFS with a 20% weighting in each, then rebalancing every year back to the original 20% weighting. Im hoping maintaining the 20% cash position will help smooth out the portfolio in these uncertain times, maybe it will outperform the more popular 60/40 portfolio.

Q: Hello 5i Team. I have a moderate risk tolerance and am looking to make a long term contrarian play with up to 10% of my portfolio on a couple of well established names that have been squeezed by COVID, but will ultimately endure (strong balance sheets) and prosper in a post COVID world. I can stomach volatility, but want to stay away from companies that have a higher chance of going to zero. Air Canada has caught my attention and it is well covered in your question bank. I was planning on pulling the trigger on it, but before I do, can I get a risk/reward comparison between it and Southwest Airlines. Between the two, which would you go with? For my second play, I am considering MGM Resorts International and American Express. Can I get your take on these two, and specifically for American Express, whether its business model is more inclined to benefit than the other major credit card companies once a vaccine arrives and travel starts to pick up. I realize that these are two very different businesses, but which would you go with and why?

Q: Hello:
Can you recommend articles or books that will guide a pre-retiree about asset allocation strategies based on ETFs? (NOT a request for general reading) If 60/40 is dead, then one is bit lost! What next? I know that repeatedly you have said that you don't want to give % of weighting of stocks or ETFs as you feel it is bit personal. Hence my request to guide me to read and learn about asset allocation strategies. Please consider current political/economic/pandemic environment.

Q: Hi Guys, the fixed income part of my portfolio needs a few additions, the returns on GIC's are very low, would be happy with PSA but apparently not available through my broker TD Waterhouse so my question is how would you rate the above 4 bonds, maturity date is no more than 3 years out.

Q: 5iteam:I continue to hold Domtar bouncing around 20% down and of course with no dividend.considering I do not have any foreign positions I am contemplating taking the loss on Domtar and initiate and diversify by acquiring Cyh for income and future growth.at 16.50 CYH is off about 25% from 52week high. Do you think Domtar has more growth potential in a market recovery? Your comments greatly appreciated. tks.Larry

Q: What is your opinion of investing in bonds vs GIC's or stocks with high dividends for Fixed Income? I'm looking for security, and given the current bond yields and little room for interest rates to drop, bonds don't look too promising. What do you think of a combination of bonds, GIC's and blue chip dividends?
If so, which bond ETFs would you recommend, for both Canada and the US? I have some USD cash, but mostly Canadian.

Q: Hi folks, please get update on Nova Leap Health nlh/c. Seems to be growing with acquisitions in part of U.S. Is it similar to operations like cbii/c, well/t or doc/t (tele-med operations)....and how does the balance sheet/ Q results look??
