Q: Hello, I've been holding UHN in my RRSP for a while, but the stock has taken a significant hit with a 33% loss. Given its current stagnation, I'm thinking of selling it and reallocating the funds. I have a few options in mind: I could buy a call option with a strike price of $79 expiring on Dec 27, which might give me a chance to recover some losses if the stock rebounds. Alternatively, I could sell UHN and use the proceeds to increase my stake in other healthcare stocks, such as LLY or ISRG, which I believe have more potential. Or, I could cut my losses entirely and exit the healthcare insurance sector. Which direction makes the most sense? Thanks
Q: Thank you for the upgrades. They are very helpful and user friendly.
Could I have your opinion of Newmarket NEU?
More upside or downside from here?
Any insight that you can provide on its fundamentals please.
Which type of investor would this stock be best suited for?
Q: I am very concerned with the performance of Berkshire Hathaway since the announcement of Buffett's retirement—it is down 11% in the past two months, while the S&P 500 is up 12% during these two months. Thanks to BRK-B’s performance in the past few years, it is the biggest single holding in my taxable portfolio. I am considering biting the bullet, paying capital gains taxes, and replacing it with the FT Vest Laddered Buffer ETF (BUFR). Can you share your thoughts on this?
Q: Please comment on this closed end fund. Is it worth holding for the interest? What are the disadvantages?is there something similar in this category that you’d prefer?
Thanks.
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
They just got a new contract of 50M for next year. I know they are up 80%+ for the year. Do you think this good news is already baked into the price. There new high already exceeds analysts forecast for next year. Your thoughts please. Thank you!
Q: What are the strengths and weaknesses of Minto ? In your last comments on the reit you did not have a good opinion on it. Do you still feel the same? Would you considers buying MU.UN now?
I went looking through the questions and couldn’t find one like this. I am not looking for personal advice but the context is that I am closer to winding down the working years and am trying to build some income into the portfolio through dividend growers.
What would be your top seven dividend growers in both the US and Canada where the starting dividend is at least 1.5% indicating that management sees the dividend as a meaningful part of its capital allocation strategy? Obviously, I would prefer some sector diversification as well.
Please feel free to deduct as many questions as you deem appropriate.
Any thoughts about the combined company now post merger? The balance sheet is stretched but always was at BERY and was manageable. Insiders were buying pre-closing.
Q: How would you rank the following reits (AP.UN, DIR.UN, HOM.UN, MHC.UN, MI.UN, NXR.UN, PLZ.UN, PMZ.UN and REI.UN) for total return. Are they any you would not buy or would only buy a partially at this time?
Q: Hi, new hear and would like to know the best place to park some money for each account type. Money will be needed between 3 to 12 months. Also if selling in which order would you sell the following ZWK, ZPW, UMAX, ENCC, TD, NA, FC, SLF.
Thank you
Q: Hi 5i Team - With gold up substantially the past year or so and now that gold stocks seem to be participating more, I am interested in taking a small position in a few junior exploration companies. I already have two mid tier producers. Are there any exploration companies that that you may be aware of that have reasonable funding and potential for decent discoveries. Past successes of management would also help. Or is there a reputable site or publication that might cover this sort of thing. Thanks.
Q: Can you give me your updated thoughts about this enterprise? What is its specific place the ai industry development? Is it a good candidate for growth potential in the next 2-3 years?. Every other remarks about financial health or other aspects should be appreciated.
