Q: If you were to make an investment in the natural gas production sector,which 4 companies would you consider?

Q: G'Day All,
The recently announced deal whereby Fairfax, Agt, and native groups will buy the Churchill rail line and, as I understand it, some of the port facilities as well, seems positive for AGT. Owning their own deep water port would seem like a plus. Looking to see if your commentary has changed at all subsequent to this deal, (assuming it actually does get finalised).

Q: Could you comment on the buying and selling done by Mittleman. They have amassed a lot of share and taken a seat on the board. Now it seems they are selling some days and buying some days (manipulation to buy more at a discount?). Also the share prices when they sell are well below the current market rate (selling under $2). Are they selling in USD? Do you think they are making the market now?

Q: 5-I,

I am looking for an investment to cover the small cap market in the USA.

1) What are your favourite ETFs that I guess would primarily cover the Russell 2000. I own VTWO but am interested in ones in Canadian dollars, either hedged or unhedged.
2) What are your favourite mutual funds that cover this space?

Q: Hello 5i.... I have watched Morneau 's recent run up and will likely take profits here. Do you feel it still has more growth potential going into 2019 ? Overall I'm concerned about lack of div growth for MSI and wish to "beat" its current div yield with a solid "dividend grower" in a RRSP account geared toward income/some growth, I am thinking about ENB or BNS from your Income PF , also hoping for more growth than MSI going forward..which would you pick here ? Or perhaps you could suggest another ( I already own RY BCE, BEP.un, ECI, FSV, WSP in various accounts)

Q: Good morning,
A large portion of my non registered portfolio is comprised of a combination of Mawer Equity funds which over time have all performed very well.

In reviewing the annual performance of these funds, I noticed that the asset under management (AUM) for the Mawer Canadian Equity fund has grown to nearly $3B and that this fund has had difficulty beating its benchmark in the last two years.

My question is whether or not you would recommend switching to another Canadian Equity mutual fund or ETF with a lower AUM amount, lower or equal MER and better performance potential.

Q: I would appreciate your opinion on these three companies. Softbank seems undervalued based on their asset base. IQ, after the correction, appears interesting. Would Etsy be sufficiently competitive with other web retail sites?
