Q: Would you please discuss "take your profits" and "let them run." What's the rule for using either? Many thanks for your advice.

Q: i want to buy BAM, but i keep nipping at stocks at their highs lately with less than cheerful results ( think SQ at it's high, though i still hold it and feel it will make it's way above it's previous high) . I recognize BAM is a very different kettle of fish. As the market is currently shy about moving upwards, do i wait for BAM to pull back?
Also I am planning to take the funds from BNS. Do I wait for it to a show a more positive move, or go now?
I look forward to any direction or guidance you can provide.

Q: I have a position in PBH and it has not done well recently although it has performed well in the past. Are there any issues with PBH? I am considering selling half and getting a half position on ATD.B. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks. SHyam

Q: Hi guys
As you know Elderly Care is expensive..roughly 6 grand a month. Sold the house 5 years ago (big mistake) put the money in a split between GICs & BNS430 . 60% GICS 40% BNS430. This isn't enough Income to stop the Capital Drain. Myself, Im not impressed with the MER or the returns from the Scotia Innova Income Portfolio Series T. Was thinking of switching out of GIC or BNS430 to the MAW105. Would you have any other ideas?. Im a little scared of the Dividend ETFs, BMO dividend ETF got Hammered 30% in 2008....Yikes

Q: Follow up to my previous question re---- pre-arranged market close orders. This seems to happen very often and in very large amounts. Can you explain why they do this? IE--- how does this action affect their performance? Is it managed personally or by a computer model? What is the average size per trade?

1- I am planning on selling FLT (per your recommendation) from a previous question. Which stock would you purchase from the growth portfolio to put the cash right back at work?
2- Thinking of also selling T and adding some to VCE and the rest to buy another name from the growth portfolio. Would you be comfortable with this? Seeing that the bulk of my portfolio are in large blended ETF's. If so, which name would you buy?
3- Debating if I should keep SPOT. Initial bought it for a 5 year hold. What are your thoughts on selling and adding to VTI or maybe buy a low volatility US ETF? Or any other thoughts?
Please deduct as many credits needed. I have plenty to spare :)

Q: Do you still consider MX a buy after recent price surge?
What is the percentage of earning come form China sale ? Is it at good entry point now for GOOS as the Huawei event will take years to solve .

Q: Hi 5I team.

Other than XUS (15%) I really do not have much exposure to US Stocks. Would you please recommend a few US stocks or Sector based ETFs to invest about 10% of new cash. I have a few options based on Mad Money and Market Call. Any preferences of the stocks I've listed or other ETF suggestions would be helpful. My horizon is for 5+ years.

Q: Into which sector(s) or product types(s) besides cash, might you look to add weight if the economy moves negative? Bonds, utilities, staples, preferreds, etc? Don’t always feel like the old guidelines apply anymore.
