Q: I am considering selling a full TFII position in registered accounts and replacing it with CN. This for a multiyear hold. I like TFII but wonder if there isn't more upside in CN. Your thoughts, please. Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team, Thanks for the amazing work you do !
I have an 18 and 20 year old. Would like your recommendations for sticks to invest in for Growth. They invested in SBET last year but SBET went down drastically. Would you recommending selling, holding SBET? They both have 7K to invest in their TFSa’s . What stocks and proportion do you suggest? Thank you, please as many credits as needed.

Q: Hi 5i,
My CM holding in my RRIF has appreciated in value by approximately 125% (not including dividends) and my dividend yield on the invested funds brings a healthy return of 7.5%.
Without consideration for CM's weight in my portfolio, do you think it would it be wise to capitalize on some of the appreciation in value though offloading some and putting the money to work elsewhere?
The factors to consider in thinking about this question that I'm aware of are:
1.) whether CM is currently overvalued to the extent that de-risking is advisable (i.e.: is it in danger of a significant decrease that would deprive me of some of the nice profit I've made so far);
2.) whether there are suitable alternatives for deployment of the funds that will provide sufficient yield and capital appreciation over time to justify the reduction in risk that selling some CM would bring; and
3.) what those alternatives might be. (I'm well invested in O&G, pipelines, tech and financial names other than CM, but light in industrials, materials, consumer discretionary and just about everything else.)
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts regarding my CM conundrum and what to do about it.
Thanks 5i !
Peter

Q: I am looking to invest in a solid high quality company with a good balance between dividend growth and earnings growth. Would you please add your 4 other favourites to my list of 4 and rank them from highest conviction to lowest for total returns over 1) a 1 year hold and 2) a 3-5 year hold.
Thanks for the great service

Q: Your thoughts of the unwinding of Japan's carry trade What should your clients
do to protect their portfolio's? For example sell high beta stocks as their values may drop. Will there be pressure on the value of short term money market funds? Will the interest rate paid on the short term market increase or decrease? I know this sounds extreme, but should there be a portion of ones portfolio in cash?
Thanks

Q: Hello Team 5i & Everyone,
Is Palantir's tech officially (or unofficially) being used by ICE and other agencies to make the new data base of all the US citizens who oppose the current US administration? (Ie: the protestors, individual states voting records that show which candidates individuals voted for in the past, etc).
With all the people recording everything with their cell phones in Minneapolis, you can see and hear that ICE Agents have started taking photos of protestors and telling them as much about the data base. Gemini summarized that the Palantir’s ImmigrationOS is designed to track “migrant” movements and streamline deportations, which, anyone with critical thinking skills can easily understand how that can also be used to track anyone & everyone.
I don’t mean to put you in an awkward spot, I’d just like to know what you’ve heard please.
Thank you,
Sandra

Q: What is causing the dramatic drop in PNG today?
Q: Good morning,
I thought I would pile on to what I am sure is a significant number of questions on MSFT today. Seems that the quarterly numbers were not all that bad, but clearly the data centre focus/spend, without the commensurate returns on AI, have spooked the market.
Would you see today's move as an opportunity to slowly add to an existing 2-3% position, or would you suggest waiting a few days to see if things stabilize?
Thanks as always.

Q: Automatic Data Processing(ADP), just came out with their earnings report can you comment quickly on how you think that went? But more importantly can you tell me how changes in interest rates affect this companies profits and what you think of this company long term in the portfolio. For the most part it looks like a great company long term can you comment on the pros and cons and WHY did it have a correction of roughly -23% since it's all time high June 6th/2025? This a screaming buy now?
Q: I understand the debt to equity is 55%. Being around 20 years, what was there worst year??

Q: Hi! I keep seeing commercials for Sofi accounts in the US, and it seems enticing. I never see commercials for Robinhood. I hold HOOD and am wondering what the difference is between this and Sofi. Why should one continue to hold HOOD, and is the negative momentum due to competition? Does one hold through this negative momentum? Thank you for your insight.
