Q: Greetings I have held NPI in my portfolio for many years. During the past 6 months or so, I have see a steady decline in price. It represents about 5% of the portfolio, and is still much higher than the origianal purchase price. Do you feel prices will increase again over the next year or two, or should I sell it?
Q: What do you believe would be the long term affect on Enbridge stock if it was loose the use of Line 5 running through Michigan either because of a legal stoppage or a major pipe line leakage. Thanks … Cal

Q: 5i
I was surprised by the sale of the Tonder Denmark plant. I could not find any mention of a potential sale in any of the previous quarterly reports or news releases. Could you speculate on the reason for the sale. I can only think that they either need cash, company had $141 million last quarter, or they don't think this will be worthwhile endeavour. Can you elaborate if possible? Thanks
Kenn

Q: Hi Guys
will the default level not go through the roof on all these Corporate Bonds in the next few years when they have to re issue debt at much higher levels ? and wont a recession really contribute to high bankruptcies.
What kind of a correction in this ETF can we expect, something along the lines of 30 %, Algonquin Power was sure hit hard with higher floating rates.
Thanks Gord

Q: hello 5i:
can I have your thoughts regarding on receiving income from the 2 names above? Recognizing that the FTS shares pay a 6% dividend and the CSU shares a 7.2% dividend, can you discuss safety, trading volumes, and most important, the outlook for the future. If YOU were looking for income, which would you prefer?
thanks

Q: Hello 5i team,
Your thoughts on Fiera capital's earnings. The drop of 15.8% in assets under management does not look good. Every metric seems to have dropped across the board.
How confident are you in this stock to pay out its dividend?
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Hello, I have too many financial stocks and I would like to sell one of the above but I'm not sure which one to let go of. I was thinking of letting X go or one of the Brookfield stocks. Your thoughts please, I feel I can get enough diversification with only four stocks in this sector. Thank you in advance.

Q: I have asked questions about core portfolio and compounders. I would like to refine my query to building a concentrated core portfolio [say, 20 CAD-USD total]. I start with the allocations greater than 5% in the 3 portfolios. BN is less than 5% on its own, yet, I wonder whether it would not be the core Canadian financial stock. As for US, there are many Fav lists, but could you boil it down to 10. For each stock, please provide key rationale for choosing it and a target buy price.
Much appreciated,

Q: Why is GIL going up in price? Don't get me wrong, I was a bit concerned at a sell - off so I'm happy. In looking at their latest quarterly release, things didn't look particularly rosy for the next several quarters. They did increase dividend, so I suppose this would have maintained a certain level of confidence, but am I missing something? Thank you.
Q: Seems like they had decent results and a nice dividend increase. Could you provide comments on their latest results please. It’s been a relatively flat stock trading range bound for years, do you see it as possibly getting some momentum behind it now? Thanks
Q: Apologise if this has been asked but what is your opinion surrounding Structured Notes being offered by banks. I can't fully understand the risk exposure and my gut tells me if my bank pushes them they must be make the institution fees beyond just buying a bond or ETF. I am quite happy with my bond exposure being only investment grade and laddered to minimize interest rate risk.
