Q: Hi Folks,
I hold CELH in my non registered account. Would now be a good time to sell to harvest a tax loss. Also, would you buy it back after the 30 days or would you move on to something else. If moving on, can you recommend 2 or 3 other small cap names for me to look at?

Assuming the fundamentals don't deteriorate, at what price range would you start to get interested in CELH again and watch for the potential of a recovery?

I was lucky enough to be playing with house money in this decline and have since exited, so I'm just observing the stock at the moment.

Q: I own these shares. these are rate reset preferreds for Brookfield infrastructure that pay a yield of 7.475% until March 2029. These dividends are eligible dividends.The company is trying to redeem these shares at 26.50 a share. I will vote against it. If however if a majority vote for it, is there any legal way for dissenting shareholders to resist being taken over. This process seems somewhat unfair because the company could've offered 26.50 to those shareholders who want to be taken out and leave the other shareholders to continue to receive their dividends

Q: I am getting concerned about inflation, mostly in the U.S. Most of Trump's policy preferences, from removing illegal immigrants, to tax cuts and tariffs seem inflationary, and if he wrests control from the Fed, I don't see how inflation stays under control. What are your thoughts on this and what would you be watching? Finally how would one, as an investor, respond to signs of very high inflation? Thank-you.

Q: I sold some NEO and am considering a re-buy. I like the direction NEO is taking. If the new USA administration, and the west nations as a whole, want to have economies not dependent on China then rare earth minerals should be on their radar since they are critical and currently almost all rare earths come from China. NEO is one of the few western companies, at least that I know of, that will have production of rare earths and related products that are/will be produced in the west (Estonia). I am considering a rebuy in the $7.50 range? What is your overall opinion of NEO and the rare earths in general? What other publicly traded, western, rare earth companies are there to consider?

Q: In an answer early this month when reviewing BYD's last quarter's results, you said "BYD notes that negative trends are continuing into the Q4, and it is still looking at ways to reduce costs. Certainly these are not great numbers, and the trend here is becoming somewhat concerning."

However, in some recent answers where members were asking for potential stocks to consider, including in the industrial space, BYD has been recommended. Why is it being recommended, given your assessment of the last quarter's results. Many thanks.

Q: When I enter the ticker for IAU (I-80 Gold Corp commons) I get the gold ETF in $US and warrants for IAU BUT not the commons - is this an error in you platform or am I not searchingthe right ticker?

Could you comment on the moves in IAU (recent big drop and part reversal) and the near term financing it needs?

Q: I already had CNR stock in my nonregistered portfolio ,I just added CP and UNP in my RRSP in order to complete my "transportation sector ", choosing mostly railroads for precise reasons. What is your impression concerning the timing + the choices , my objective being here : less volatility + some growth and dividends. Thanks for your always excellent comments.
