Q: What are your top 3 sectors (ex tech) to invest in the US right now for the next 3 years ? I am looking to hold 3-5 years.

Please name your top 3 ideas (ranked if possible) in each of your preferred sectors for an investor with moderate to high risk appetite, regardless of market cap.

Thank you

Q: Last November, CASY was listed as a favourite Consumer Defensive along with COST and WMT. In May of this year, CASY was on the 'quite comfortable to own list'. Considering it did very well yesterday, would a purchase now be considered buying a quality name and buying into positive momentum? How does 5i's feel about the company now and why? As a COST owner, I am quite interested in your thoughts on this name. With thanks.

Q: Long term holder of ATD and starting to rethink my investment based on their company size. I feel the company may now be too large to emulate their previous track record. When compared to the smaller Casey's in the US, ATD has vastly underperformed it's smaller peer recently. Also, they seem to be missing forecasts more frequently the last couple of years which may explain their all in pursuit of 7-11. If the takeover doesn't occur, are there other growth levers the company can pursue to resume growing their top & bottom lines consistently again? Thx

Q: I am beginning to transition my portfolio from a growth portfolio to a more defensive posture. My portfolio analysis indicates I am approximately 6% underweight in both Consumer Defensives and Consumer Cyclicals. I have some U.S, cash to deploy, what would be your top recommendations for these two areas? Thank you in advance!

Q: This US equity just reported and has corrected. The business model is similar to Couche Tard but it is much smaller. It pays a 10% dividend. If the share price drops under $20 I want to buy but would ask for your analysis on the company, ability to pay the generous yield, debt, guidance, valuation, etc. It seems to have a see-saw long term chart. Appreciate your opinion on a buy here.
