Q: CPH has been really beaten up lately. What do you think is the reason.
Do you view this as a good buying opportunity?
Do you think that GUD is interested in this company?
...........thank you

Q: CPH has showed some recent strength lately. That being said, is it time to switch out of the name and take advantage of the price pull back that COV is experiencing?
Q: I am holding a position in this company waiting to see what the acquisition of Cardiome Pharma will look like - meaning will this put CPH on a path to higher earning. However the stock price is finding new 52 week lows. Would your advice be sell now or give them a quarter or two to see what this acquisition is going to look like?
Q: Can please give some update after the company has sold its US operations? Will this step will help company to focus on its Canadian operation?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Can you please comment on the acquisition made today? After lots of acquisitions should this not finally alleviate growth concerns?
Also, from Cardiome's recent investor presentation it looks like they had Canadian tax credits of 190M cad @ 26% = $49M (versus the company's 75M total tax credits). I am assuming that is what "NOL CFWDs" means? From the news release it appears Cipher may get these credits in the transaction. That seems very beneficial for Cipher as they would be in a position to actually use them immediately where Cardiome operating at a loss could not. Is my thinking correct here?
Thanks!

Q: Do you like the acquisition that CPH made today? How safe is it to buy shares at this, 52 week low? Does the potential look good to you?
Q: What do you see regarding CPH earnings? Is the positive trend established enough for one to hold a full position?
Q: What is going on with Cipher? They seem to be doing everything right (reducing interest expense, producing solid earnings) but the stock is hitting 52 week lows while trading at a very low valuation. Thanks
Q: Cipher is improving and the stock is trending up. With that being said, Knight looks better for the long term if they ever deploy their cash hoard. I currently have a half position in Cipher where a tax loss can be harvested. Take the tax loss and top up my position in Knight while it's down?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: CPH has been reporting some pretty good looking results, if this is to be a trend then it looks like a wise investment; agree? What would be your cautions around taking a position?
Q: Could you please comment on CPH 3rd quarter result and conference call?
Q: What is with this stock? Results have improved substantially in recent quarters but the stock grinds lower.
Q: It looks to me like this company is turning around quite nicely. Recently, in my opinion, Q2 was very strong but the stock hasn't moved much. I took a small position but I'm thinking about adding to it. What do you think?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hello. Could I get your views on CPH and STN's earnings releases and your views on the two companies?
Thank you.
Thank you.
- Gold Springs Resource Corp. (GRC)
- Merus Labs International Inc. (MSL)
- Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CPH)
Q: All three of these companies were once market darlings that have fallen from their more favorable market days and are now attempting turnarounds. Do any of these companies appear to be a turnaround buy at their current levels? If not,and if they sit in one's portfolio, should they be ejected? if so, how would they rate from worst (eject 1st)to best (still hope, eject last).
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: With the sale of US assets, what are your views on CPH going forward? Comments on current valuation and growth strategy/outlook?
- Photon Control Inc. (PHO)
- Merus Labs International Inc. (MSL)
- Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CPH)
- Sandvine Corporation (SVC)
Q: I currently have 1/2 positions in MSL,CPH and SVC. MSL and CPH look like dead money with not a lot of growth potential going forward. SVC looks okay. I'm looking to enter a full position with PHO using proceeds from the sale of MSL and CPH (I would keep SVC for now and monitor). For heath care representation in my portfolio, I have a full position in GUD already (thanks 5i)! For a growth oriented portfolio, will this be a good move 3-5 years out? What do you consider an attractive entry point for PHO?
Thanks!
Thanks!
