Q: While I realize that you've always been skeptical about the MJ sector as a whole, from an investment perspective, it might be time to take another look at CRZ in light of what has transpired in the past few months. It has recently acquired both 180 Smoke (Canada's premier vape store chain) and RVR Distribution (2017 revenue of US$25.3 million) which now gives it one of the dominant cannabis development platforms in California. This is significant because while there are currently 51 MJ stores in all of Canada, there are 450 in California. This likely explains why CRZ also had record Q2 revenue, accelerated the expiry date for its warrants (always a good sign) and boasts one of the best looking stock charts within the MJ sector.
Q: I am 65 and retired with about $150,000 invested in the Mawer Balanced Fund for the long term. I redeem about $700 each month to supplement my company pension. Is this a good vehicle for the purpose Or is something else more suitable?
Q: Lots of talk re turn around in the Uranium space. Do you agree? And what companies would benefit from higher prices?? Nexgen receives lots of attention would NXE be a good investment at current prices???
Q: I have been unable to add following to my 5I Watchlist. What am I missing, or are they unavailable on your site?

Q: Is there any consideration to add Reddit style discussions with 5i members? Having such chats and posting the conversation may allow regular questions be answered and allow for follow up discussion. I'm sure there is some hesitation to get into lengthy debates over a specific investment, however you can also moderate the discussion to focus on a specific topic, such as what you are putting together with the video series.

Q: I've noticed that SHOP has consistently made lower lows and lower highs over the last 6 months. It's a high flier and I don't completely understand the company but do have it as a holding.
Is the revenue growth slowing? Is there any reason to be concerned?
Completely different stock but BNS has been consistently making lower lows and lower highs for the last year. Looking deeper at the chart, I see that the stock did nothing for 5 years from 2011 to 2016 (admittedly, comparing a peak to a trough) Canadian Banks have generally become accepted as a 'no brainer' investment based on the monopoly and returns over the last 30 years. Most industries seem to get disrupted over time, is it reasonable to expect Canadian Banks to have the same growth over the next 10/15/20 years?
Q: HBLK is down 42% since I bought it last October. Should I sell or do you see future potential there? I am willing to hang in there for another year...
Thanks,

Q: Well this one has certainly fallen out of bed recently. Can you speculate as to why other than threat of the fed. Would you hold going forward 12 to 18 months or would it be prudent to take the profits and run, given the outlook?
