Q: The share price on this company is on a tear since the 1/4ly report.
Do you think this because it was a good report and people are buying back in, looking back to where the share price was 3 years ago with the hope of a good capitol gain, or is this a typical case of piling on to get the special dividend, only to sell, sell, sell, once it goes ex-dividend next Friday.

Q: Hi team,

I have been in SQ now for over 6 months and quite happy. Last night, PYPL bought iZettle, a Swedish payments company that is in competition with SQ. I guess good and bad about this for SQ. The bad part (for me anyway) is that PYPL did not buy SQ as that was speculated as a good possibility for some time. It also makes PYPL a stronger competitor for SQ. The good part I guess is that PYPL’s push into this segment endorses the “bricks and mortar” payments side where others are lukewarm about this segment but SQ has a strong presence. What is your view now about the competitive landscape for SQ and does this make a bid for SQ by another candidate more or less likely? I know you guys don’t like speculating on takeovers (except for SPOT, lol).

Q: Hello, as of today PZA price is at least 25% lower than it was in early January of 2017. Should I continue to hold or sell? The other option I thought of, is to sell PZA and buy XTC as a replacement, does that make sense? I know that they are both in different sectors and that their respective yields are different (6.5% versus 3.7%). I appreciate your help. Thanks, Gervais

Q: I notice some stocks, the minute they have a run-up they give up all their gains and more. KXS, RHT - these two are in your portfolio and COV in your portfolio which a short time ago ran up to $7.00 and then pulled back to $3.00ish, I am hoping happens again, so I can buy it in the $3.00 range - your thoughts (and you always have very good ones)? Q: Hi There,
It's events such as the recent ENB transaction with ENF that your subscribers receive excellent advice and guidance. Your team is worth their weight in gold!
1. If the transaction is approved does one get 0.7029 Enbridge shares per ENF share?
2. Is it reasonable to assume the transaction will be approved because ENB has more than 66% ownership in ENF?
3. When is the planned transaction date or timeframe?
4. How would they deal with fractional ENB shares after the transaction?
5. Are there any capital gains or tax issues after ENF gets converted to ENB shares?
6. Has ENB reiterated their dividend growth after these transactions?

Q: I have owned and traded this stock for some time.Being a small cap,liquidity is low.After the recent news it was up on higher volume.
It is now down the last two days on light volume which tells me traders are taking a quick profit.Is it possible manipulation is occurring?The long term prospects of this company look good,so it is possible for a manipulator to depress the price(on light volume)and pick up more shares when all the weak hands have abandoned the stock?

Q: Just Energy has announced $1.40 earnings per share for the last quarter. This compares with $1.13 earnings per share for the previous quarter. No doubt it is carrying a heavy debt.
But with a 0.50 cent dividend, the yield is well over 10%
May I have your opinion please if JE might be a Buy here. Thanks
