Q: What do you think of Tesla, they are just stretching such a big lead on the next guy and it continues, the first quarter numbers are up and its insane, they put out 310000 cars in the last quarter, mustang put out 58000 all of last year, this year they want to triple it but already they are out of chips. Tesla spends 3 times the RD per car that other builders do. They had 14 cars left in inventory at the end of the last quarter. They are sold out until 2023. Two huge additions will come on line this year, Giga Berlin ( already going and putting out a "sold" car every 150 seconds, Giga Texas coming in the next few months. They are secure in their access to nickel. Seeing Giga Berlin build cars is just fantastic, incredible automation, the giga press. It seems all is roses and just starting to ramp up, do these incredible numbers make a statement for the stock? buy, sell or hold?
thanks, Jean
Q: DEUTSCHE POST AG seems like a international UPS type stock that's interesting. Can you tell me anything about the financials and does it look interesting to you from the view of a dividend payer? Thanks!
Q: Which would you choose if only one were to be added to a portfolio? I have owned SYK and know it to be a relatively steady-eddy company but one that has had some solid growth over the years. ISRG showed very promising stock appreciation but that has certainly cooled off over the past several months. Which do you feel has the better total upside over the next 5 years?
Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! I learned my IPO lesson with Rivian and it hurts!! A good solid loss. I was thinking of selling what little funds I have left and buying some Mullen Automotive. It is a much smaller stock but seems to be beating earnings. Your thoughts??? Would I be going from the fire into the frying pan???Cheers, Tamara
Q: What are your thoughts on Xylem?
Would you add to a 1.5% position at today’s price or do you see further down side?
Thanks as always for your advice.

Q: With the chaos in the US market in Q1 2022, im considering adding some quality growth names to my portfolio. Which US growth names do you think are attractively valued in the current market environment?
Q: We are selling our house and will be renting a condo instead, so I’ll have 500k to put in the stock market. My current portfolio is mainly Canadian dividend stocks and bonds, providing me with plenty of retirement revenue. I am light on non-Canadian stocks and was looking at buying the above-mentioned stocks for a long term holding period (10+ years). Do you have issues with any of these stocks, and if so, what are those? I happen to be a customer/user of these companies, except for PFE. thanks,
Q: Looking at archived questions you had a favourable opinion of CME Group in the past is it still a good investment? What are the postive attributes and are they any negative things to be aware of - am thinking of including in my US $ RRSP.
Thanks
Q: Hi
In a past question I was provided these US stocks to purchase: VZ, DUK, GILD, ABBV, O. I was looking for: low to moderate risk and high dividend yields I am again looking for another 5 to 7 stocks with similar criterion. As I am trying to build a US portfolio, please provide some diversification suggestions as well. Thanks, Len
AVAV has poped up and seems interesting. What does 5i think of this drone company? It produces and works on Military drones, Agriculture drones, surveillance drones, research, etc. Has had quite a run up lately.
The drops in SBUX, is this a good time to start a position? Obviously the Howard has a lot of experience and is a good capital allocater. If he thinks the company is better served by investments rather than repurchase..that should be a better move. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
