Q: My question is about share compensation. My understanding is that, share compensation is recorded at fair market value at the time of issue. I wonder how many companies recorded higher costs for share compensation and lower GAAP profits, given last year's run up in valuations? Year over year the amounts seem out of whack for many companies.

Q: Hi Guys
What do you think of the management team spending like drunken Sailors on 250,000 square feet of office space in the knew splashy Welltower building in Toronto. Not only that, but when the stock was flying it exercised options to take on another 90,000 square feet.
Sounds like arrogant kids to me.
Thanks Gord

Q: Was happy to see DOCU's small rebound and the relatively positive report you gave them in your answer to a previous question.

My question is whether they really have a moat with their product or whether it can be reproduced by a bigger player like Microsoft.

Your answer will help to decide whether it's better to sell during this rebound or hope for a return to the heights it once enjoyed.

Q: Dear 5i,
ENGH and OTEX look pretty beat up.
I am considering purchasing a 1 to 2% TFSA position in one or both.
Do you think these are bargain prices? Do you have a preference
if one should purchase today? Can you please provide your reasons
for your preference. I expect to hold for at least 3 years but ideally
forever. thanks

Q: Can you please give me your thoughts on Constellation's deal in acquiring WideOrbit through the Lumine group. Do you think that this will be a positive for CSU shareholders? How will it affect current CSU shareholders and will there be a special dividend? Any information that you have would be appreciated. Thank You.

Q: Further to your response to Tom on Dec. 5th, could you recommend several ETFs that would be quality choices to represent emerging markets, healthcare and tech that would result in less overall volatility than purchasing individual stocks? Thanks.

Q: Hi team,

LSPD is my largest position in my TFSA and it is down 75% from my purchase price. The TFSA itself is down 50%.
You are obviously not positive about the future of LSPD. And, at 82 years old, I am not in for the long term.
My choice is to sell to save whatever is left of it or to keep it with the hope of selling it later with a smaller loss than now. What do you think ?
What would you do if you were in my shoes ?
Thank you for your attention.
