Q: Hi Peter and Team, I know that Peyto is one of your top choice in the energy sector. How do you explain that Peyto stock has decreased by about 12% over the last 6 months? Vermilion has increased by about 40% during the exact same period. Am I missing something here? Thank you, Gervais

Q: would you consider all of these stocks energy and oil related? How much of total weight would you give in this sector at this time? Would you consider 13% total too high in this sector?

Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
Had a basket of them before the oil crash- sold off BDI, CFW,NAL PD and PHX at bottom to see big pickups in 3 of them . I want to hold small positions in 4 . Assuming oil does not hit above $60 and HWO and FRC are 2 in your view (correct me if wrong ) which other two from BDI,CEU,ESI,NAL,PD,PHX,SVG or TDG

Thanks for all you do
Dennis

Q: Seasons Greetings!!
I see that the top two holdings of this ETF represent a 44% weighting. That seems too high to me. Is there another ETF that offers a better balance/diversification? Your sage advice is very much appreciated!!

Q: This is a question and a quick heads-up.
In your latest coverage summary (Jan 3), you continue to show Newalta as having a 10.8% dividend yield. I think they dumped the dividend a while ago.

My question is on Cardinal Energy. If oil continues a slow move up to $60USD in 2017, do you see Cardinal being a solid name to hold? Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i team:
from CNQ I received some shares of PSK. I noticed that analysts have it as a "hold" mostly, what is your opinion should I keep them ?, I am underinvested in energy, so a would not mind to keep them, but if risk is high I would prefer to sell them and buy something more predictable. Thanks !!!

Q: Good morning,

I have been following BDI for a while. I know that they have raised money for a price higher than the current stock price. Also, they have serious debt to take care off and have cut their dividend twice already. Last Monday, they introduced a Drip program for dividend payout. Is this good news or bad news? Explain to me what the drip program will do the share price and how it will affect the current shareholders?

Thank, you

Paul

Q: I hold some shares of PGF from before oil tanked and am down 25% now after its been recovering a little in the last few months. They have a ton of debt and I have only continued to hold the stock because it has been recovering with the price of oil. I don't plan to hold this stock for the long term but I felt I could make some of my money back, which has worked so far.But Seeking Alpha released a negative report today stating it will likely not meet all its debt obligations and suggesting maybe a reverse stock split could have to happen. Do you think I should get out of PGF now?
