Q: Hi Peter and Team, I have recently heard a number of analysts/portfolio managers comment on Surge Energy as having an unsustainable model due to their strategy of acquiring assets past their prime , with high decline rates. The preferred model would be one such as Crescent Point Energy which owns assets where future production has more upside. Could I please have your thoughts.

Thanks, David

Q: Hello 5i, I am a holder of Long Run LRE and with the merger of Crocotta would like to know if I am entitled to any warrants to buy shares of Leucrotta LXE at the strike price of 1.70 as I did not own any Crocotta before just long Run.

Q: Mart is looking weak here again, I'm assuming due to the uncertainty of finishing the pipeline and the large shrinkage losses in the existing one.

My question is regarding the new pipeline: I can't seem to find anywhere an agreement with Shell or another party that Mart has signed which will guarantee them a market for all the oil they hope to ship in the new pipeline, and under what terms. I may have missed this, but if not what is the risk that they cannot reach favorable terms with their new pipeline (once operational)? I guess the question is - once the pipeline is finally finished and commissioned, can the upside be quantified, and is it at a valuation well above where the company is now? Or is there also risk of a new pipeline agreement dragging out and not being favorable to Mart?

Q: re: PNE

Is it just me or does Michael Campbell always have a very compelling story.

In looking into it further, there is no question Mr. Fink knows what he is doing. And now he is apparently doing the same thing again with Pine Cliff.

Has anything happened or has your opinion changed - for the better or worse- since your last comment on PNE July 28?

Thanks for all you do

Gord
