Q: Can you give me a couple of ideas for oil E&P exposure
Q: NatPo had a mouthwateringly positive piece on Shell moving forward on its LNG project based in Prince Rupert. If one were inclined towards value Canadian gas Cos. would seem ripe for consideration. Knowing the long term play that LNG would have to be which gas plays would you view as opportune?
Q: Peter and Team:
If Royal Dutch Shell decides to go ahead with its LNG Export terminal in Kitimat, which NG Companies have the most potential upside?
I am woefully down on PEY, and am wondering if I should continue to hold in hope of recovery, or take a 50% plus hit and move on.
Thank you as alway
Phil

Q: I have owned this in the good times and bad ( have held it for years). What is your outlook for this stock for the next year?
Q: ..with improved assets, greater cash flow and increased flexibility to pay down debt all resulting from the RRX deal, is your negative view of Baytex based on past performance of mgmt or poor future prospects? thanks.

Q: Where do you see oil going. Is this oil bull real.

Q: About a month ago I purchased vxus & already it is down 7%. I believe I'm caught in a perfect storm of a rising US dollar & trade war rumblings of Donald Trump. EM countries often owe debt in US dollars which hurts them & causes further drops in stock prices.Your comments on this thesis & suggestions would be appreciated. On the positive side Bloomberg News feels China has hit a bottom.
Q: I like the concept of this company going forward but am somewhat concerned about the lack of proven technology. Does 5i have a view on this company?
Q: Am just wondering, if the deal with Baytex did not go through do you think there is enough value in Raging River alone to justify it returning to its price before the announcement of the deal. Also, again on its own, does Raging River have decent fundamentals: P/E, cash flow, debt level, growth potential, etc.
Further to this, could you explain how the deal with Baytex, assuming it goes through, would subtract from those fundamentals. Thanks.

Q: Which would you prefer at this time? Thanks, Austin

Q: I have no energy exposure in my portfolio since 2014. I sold all of WCP, RRX, VET, SGY late 2014 and never went back. I am thinking about gradually stepping back into energy but not in a hurry or big way. I am a growth investor and have no issue with risks. Should I buy CNQ, SU etc big names or stay with smaller ones like WCP, VET etc. or just use an ETF like XEG? Thanks.
Q: CVR Refining LP (US) pays a 9.2% Dividend. Any opinion on this? Thanks!
Q: Hello 5i,
My only oil and gas exposure is with Yangarra Resouces and I'm looking at Parex as an addition. Please comment on the pros and cons of this move. I have a well balanced portfolio and an above average risk tolerance.
Thank you
Dave
