Q: I'm down about 15% on BIP.UN and am thinking of a tax loss sale and purchasing either NPI or BLX; and then reentering BEP in January. I currently hold CPX and AQN.
A similar question had been asked previously in June, and 5i's recommendation was either NPI or BLX. Has anything changed with these companies since June? What would be your preference for a short term hold today and why?
Many thanks!

Q: Hello -
In a recent Q&A, your team mentioned that TRP is cheap. It currently has an approximate PE of 30X. Do you see the "E" increasing in the near future to make this ratio look more reasonable? Or from what metric do you see this stock as being inexpensive ?
I also see negative Free Cash flow for the last number of years. Is this concerning?
With growing demand for EV's going forward, how much of a negative impact will this have on ENB and TRP ? Is one slightly more vulnerable to the changeover from ICE to EV than the other?
Thanks.

Q: Which of the above clean energy etf would you prefer if exposure to this sector is desired?
Q: Good morning,
I own shares of ENB in my Non Reg account and I'm looking at selling ENB for some tax loss harvesting this year. Can you please provide me with your best idea in terms of a suitable proxy among other pipelines? Thank you.

Q: For my more conservative/income portfolio I’d like to add a utility (already have AQN). Which would you prefer between Fortis or Emera (which I believe has a weaker balance sheet)? Or would you have a different recommendation entirely? Thanks
Q: Top 3 favourite O&G to hold irrespective of portfolio mix. Canadian or US or international. Large, mid, or small cap. Doesn’t matter upstream, midstream, downstream. Just what 5i likes now and briefly why. Maybe an honourable mention if you have one.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Q: Thanks for all you do. Can you comment on the green metals outlook for investing? And then, more specifically GMET

Q: Hello 5i team:
At this particular time, which ETF do you think worth buying? US based XLE or Canadian based XEG? Is there a ETF based on Europe or the rest of the world?
Will you underweight or overweight energy in one's portfolio? I know in the US energy doesn't play a big role. But in Canadian index, they do.
Thanks in advance.

Q: Long time holder of NPI, wondering what your thoughts would be on a switch to BEP.UN. The fact it is one of the few stocks you have rated as an 'A' is a huge vote of confidence, as well as being a Brookfield company, more diversified, larger market cap, slightly higher yield.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Q: Which one would you choose: fortis or capital power

Q: There is much concern about the future regarding Electricity to power all the Batteries when EV s come in in the Future. What Utilities in Canada and USA will benefit. This is turning out to be a Growth Industry. Are you concerned about supply RAK

Q: Interested in the difference amongst this companies and which one you'd prefer.
Q: Dear 5i,
These questions are regarding NNRG ETF and it's many fees.
Is the management fee 1.5%?
What is the MER?
Is there a performance fee of 10%?
If yes, is the performance fee levied daily?
Do you think one is better off buying CNQ which also
pays a generous dividend with no fees?
thanks

Q: What are your large, medium and small energy top picks? Dividend payers preferred.
Do you see energy prices/shares falling in 2022, rising or leveling?
Thanks.

Cardinal Energy Ltd. (CJ)
Q: Good Morning 5i,
With all the cash being generated by the energy companies I am wondering if you think the higher carbon producers would be looking to go private to allow them the time needed away from the public markets to transition to a lower carbon footprint. Would appreciate your thoughts in this regard, which companies do you think would consider going this route, would a company require shareholder approval and if so,
would there be a significant premium paid to shareholders to get the approval ? Thanks
