Q: I bought LSPD several months ago and so far its been doing great.. We've been thinking about buying more but given the gains already seen do you think there is still significant upside opportunity? How much of the gains do you think are being driven by hype or are the business fundamentals just that good?

Q: SHOP is up past 2 says. Don't see any specific news. Any insight?
Q: Thank you for such a prompt response to my CSU spinoff question. Following on the heals of BEP, is cash paid for the fractional shares not issued?

Q: Not sure if you can get to this question in the short time it is relevant but it has been suggested that it would be "best" to own CSU in multiples of 7 for purposes of the spinoff. How important or useful is that? Would you buy a couple of shares just to accomplish that if you intended on selling those newly bought shares in the near future to restore your portfolio balance?
Appreciate the insight.

Q: Aritzia is trading near pre-pandemic levels. Analysts: 9 buys, 0 holds, 0 sells. I read that people are saving more money since the pandemic. I doubt the stores are as busy as last year. I know they have e-commerce but I don’t know if that makes up for the lack of foot traffic. It was a top pick on BNN by Teal Linde this Monday. I was thinking of selling but now I’m torn. Wondering if this is a good hold going forward. Thank you again for the excellent support!!
Q: Your report on Xebec fails to mention that a lot of its debt is owned by China. What is your opinion of that fact?
Q: I hold CTC.A and have been considering switching to LNF taxes not an issue. Could you compare the companies and offer which company you perfer. Thanks
Q: May I have your comments on Well
Q: Hi, Peter, I have watched CSU for a long time but always hesitant to finally purchase. With the spin-off date set, is it better to buy CSU now than afterwards? Is CSU a good buy at this time for 5 + year hold in a RESP?
It looks like 5 shares of CSU (1.859817814) yields 9 shares of topicus as long as the purchase is made before record date. So 5 shares might be the optimal minimum. Does the purchase have to be completed before Dec 23? Your insight on this is much appreciated!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Q: Do you recommend to still purchase Shopiffy?
Q: Hi Peter,
Now that GUD has been delisted from S&P/TSX, can I still buy or sell GUD shares? If so, what exchange?

Q: Happy holidays to all at 5i. In this most difficult of years, it was great that you were all at our financial backs and gave us one less thing to stress about.
I purchased GOOS about a month ago on your recommendation. Since then you seem to be touting DOO more strongly. I don't normally chase stocks but I was wondering in this case if you feel a much stronger case can be made for DOO over GOOS? I only ask in this situation because I have always been leery of discretionary stocks - particularly those that are fashion related - because tastes can change very quickly, I am a buy and hold investor so I am not looking for a just quick flip.
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Saw that CSU has an update on the spin-off of Topicus.com. Great to hear that they got it done before year-end.
Question about their news release, when does Topicus.com actually start trading on TSX? And when do current shareholders get that spin-off dividend?

Q: Alimentation Couche-Tard:
In a past question you had indicated that you did not feel this would become a "yield stock" in the future. So I am assuming there is still plenty of runway for this company with their present business model. Or do you think they will need to expand on this model to continue growth ? I know they've entered the Asian market. Perhaps this is their answer (?).
Final question. If shareholders are anxious for an acquisition, do they have an acceptable balance sheet at this time to pull one off in the near term?

Q: WSP is joining forces with Golder thus creating the leading global environmental consulting firm helping clients to a more sustainable and low carbon future.
Do you think this warrants an upgrade to an A- for WSP Global?
Many thanks.
