Q: I hold a 5.9% position in ZWU in a registered account. I have surplus US cash in a non-registered account to put to work and was thinking of XLU which yields approx 3.4%. I realize this distribution will be treated as income by CRA [I am retired - low tax bracket] but it seems better than letting the funds just sit. If you could offer other suggestions I'd appreciate them. Thanks.....

Q: Hi Peter.
What is your thoughts on Evertz business and the current valuation.
They generate alot of free cash flow, have no debt, post high returns on invested capital and have shown modest growth.
Why does the market not give this tech beauty a little more love ? Seems like the price gets "stuck" and there is not a fundamental group of investors behind the equity who will bridge the value into the price. Your thoughts please.

Q: Hi, Could I please get your thoughts on this company? As a long term holder, do you think right now is a good time to start a position? Thank you!
Q: This seems like a great buy at the moment , pays a 4.4% dividend, ex dividend the 12th of June, how safe is the dividend? Sports hopefully will be back at one point, can they survive and prosper?

Q: Can I have your opinion on 3 quite safe and high paying dividend stocks. I have 30k in a savings account at 2 % being taxed and I have room in my TFSA, but I really feel better with quality dividends rather than risk at this time.
Thanks, J

Q: What are your top 5 dividend stock ideas? Perhaps ones that haven't rebounded yet that have a good yield, or that have had recent results that showed resiliency and have room to run. For example, you have been been right in recommending BEP.UN, however, it has had a big run. Do you carte blanche keep recommending even after it's big run or is there a better relative buy?
Q: What one would you buy today for long term hold, total return in 5-10 years. Hard to imagine CU having any trouble continuing to grow the dividend with one of the longest track records in Canada. Already own FTS,AQN,BEP in other accounts this would be for an alternate account or should I just stick with adding more of the 3 already owned.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Are these companies subsidized by governments, and would these be longer term holds.
Q: Hi 5i, Can I get your analysis on NextEra.I am looking at this for a long term investment. Do you think it is a good investment right now?
Q: in answer to Stephen's question today did you mean Capstone was acquired; if so by whom?

Q: I have been looking for under-the-radar U.S. dividend paying companies that offer diversification. While Verizon is hardly under-the-radar, it does seem an excellent diversifier. Bottom line, how would you rate these three companies in terms of dividend paying reliability. Thanks for your excellent input!!
Q: May I have your opinion of this stock for a longer term investment. Thank you.cheers
Q: hello 5i:;
I've just sold SIA; had held since 2016 and about a 4% weighting. Looking for something in the Health Care space, hopefully with a good dividend. Would like something like PFE:US, but as its going into a TFSA, the withholding tax is not exactly enamoring. Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be Health Care, but should be a good stable dividend growth stock. The portfolio is well balanced at the present time.

ATCO Ltd. Class I Non-voting Shares (ACO.X)
Q: ACO.X or CU.With preservation of capital and income as goals,do you have a preference?
Q: Which dividend would you deem to be the safer of the two? Which has the better upside in SP?
Q: Can you see any insider buys since the stock went down since March? Thx
Q: Frontline is a shadow of its former self a decade ago. It has finally shown some signs of life in the last year: shows a 34% dividend. The fact that it actually still has a dividend seems remarkable.
Is this company buyable here? Is it better managed and is that dividend likely to continue. Was the dividend cut over the last 10 year or eliminated at all during this time/
Thanks for your insights here.

Q: Do you have an opinion on management? As a shareholder, I was very disappointed to see that one of its homes, Altamont, was called out among the 5 Ontario homes where conditions are deplorable.
