Q: I am considering one of these two ETF’s to invest in. Which one would you recommend as being the one to offer a better rate of return and what is your assessment of both. I like these two because their 10 top holdings. I also really like a large number of their holdings but specifically want exposure to following: Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, Facebook, Netflix to name a few. Are there any other ETF’s that you would recommend that may be better?

Q: I have a position in my US dollar rrsp account in HACK and read of the management issues currently in litigation. What would you suggest regarding this holding - is it a buy sell or hold and what are your views concerning this issue. Is this likely to adversely affect this ETF longer term. I appreciate your thoughts on whether I ought to hang in or otherwise. Thanks so much.
Q: Are preferred shares a better investment for someone hoping to live on dividend income during retirement?

BMO Covered Call Dow Jones Industrial Average Hedged to CAD ETF (ZWA)
-
BMO US High Dividend Covered Call ETF (ZWH)
Q: What percentage would you put into each of ZWA (hedged) and ZWH (unhedged), for long term, as a rule of thumb, without knowing the rest of one's portfolio, but figure it's a reasonable percentage of one's U.S. component. Thanks for your advice.
Q: As an additional comparison to my question of jan.11 re: xtr and zmi do you feel plv would be a better long term hold with more upside potential considering the payout is much more in line with a sustainable payout with maybe not having to rely on roc to meet the higher payout s of the xtr and zmi ? Also would consider any of these to be overvalued and or should an investor wait out a market correction? Thank you kindly Larry
Q: I'm looking for a breakdown of Enbridge's revenue/operations. Oil transportation and midstream services vs natural gas distribution (utility), vs renewable (wind/solar etc.). Could you give me an idea of the breakdown or point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I currently bought Enbridge and would like to buy either WCP or RRX ,should I buy both or just one? My Enbridge is 4% weight in my account so if I buy both at a 2.5 % weight then I will be up to 9% and would this be too much for this sector?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I am overweight in a bank stock and will be selling some and since I have no bonds I am wondering if okay to just buy XHY as it would be a 5% position. This is for a RRSP account and not needed for at least 5-7 years.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and 5i staff,
I have a portfolio of Canadian stocks with reasonable sector weightings. If I were to add an ETF like VFV comprising of US Stocks, my weightings would seem quite high in many of the sectors. Do I need to re-balance ?
Thanks for all the great advice.
Ivan

Q: Looking for an entry point for a purchase of Aurora Cannabis (intending to likely exit before July, or in the event of a Constellation-style buy-in). What would your $ buy point potentially be, in light of the Cannimed situation. And where could you see this stock by July considering the current frenzy around this industry
Q: Hi,
I bought gud at just over $10. Being at 7.92 right now and 3% of my portfolio do you think it’s a good time to average down and increase holding to 5%? Or would you view that as too much of a position?

Q: I hold the above mentioned securities in my total portfolio. Some positively, some negatively affected by rising interest rates. Group one (5%)-cpx,Enb& AD. Group two (3.4%)-Reits cuf & kmp . Group three (7.4%)- zpr & Ecn.pr.a
My plan reduce positio in group one esp. Enb and use proceeds to buy cpd.a my concern with cpd.a is fees totaling 2%. Also when purchasing this security there appears to be a trailer fee attached as indicted when I attempted to make a trade. Your opinion please.
