iShares Core Canadian Long Term Bond Index ETF (XLB)
-
Vanguard Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF (VAB)
-
RBC Target 2028 Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF (RQQ)
Q: Please provide you input on the pros and cons on the difference between ETF bonds, such as RQQ, with maturity dates, vs ETF bonds, such as VAB and/or XLB, with no maturity dates. Instead of investing in GICs, which you are locked in for a period, RQQ can be bought and sold when the market opens, making it seems to be almost as good as GIC.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: The operating cash flow for FSZ for 2023 was 137.97 million and for 2022 the operating cash flow was 113.31million. This info comes from Yahoo Finance and from Microsoft Finance. The divvy payment is 92.1 million. Are these numbers the same as yours from Bloomberg?

Q: Hi,
Both gsy and PRL seem to be similar businesses to me, although gsy is a lot bigger and more established. Which one would you figure is going to show more overall growth in the next 2-3 years? Thank you for your excellent service!

Q: I’ve heard that data centre spending between now and 2030 will fall into three buckets: CPUs, Ai accelerators, and infrastructure, where CPUs are the slowest growing segment. Do you agree with that framework, and if so, could you briefly explain the difference between these three areas and recommend the best companies in each? Thank you.
Q: Even with the recent drop, Lumine still seems to be more expensive than Topicus based on EV/EBITDA. At the current price, would you prefer Topicus or Lumine? What metric would you recommend using to evaluate growth tech stocks?
Q: My small holding of DISNEY is currently -40% under water. And I’ve been holding it for 3-4 years. What do you think of its prospects in the next 3 years. Would you consider sell it now?
Q: Are these two companies too similar to own both? At what price does each become compelling for a trade? Which would you rather own?

Q: I was wondering if there were any good AI, like ChatGPT, that we can use to analyze official financial statement releases from companies. I tried on ChatGPT, and it seems to use some kind of “tools”. I wonder if the results I would get come directly from the financial statements themselves, or from commentary on them.
Any guidance on this would be great!

Q: What is your take on holding GOOG going forward, in light of a number of big name fund managers (Ackman,Klarman,Dorsey etc) exiting or largely decreasing their positions in the company? We know its related to the talks of breaking up GOOG. But what do you feel is the likelihood and outcome of that for shareholders? Clearly these managers feel its going to be a negative outcome since they are exiting. Wondering what your outlook is, and if its worth holding throughout the pain. Thx
Q: Is DIS a sell???....And would you buy NFLX as a replacement for DIS???.....Tom
Q: I am wondering about protecting myself from downward moves of NVDA price based on earnings results and news next week. My strategy so far is limited selling as the stock has ramped up beyond any "normal" I have seen.
Of course the dichotomy is:
- Fear that the bubble / AI hype will fizzle and my paper gains never materialize, and;
- Trepidation that I will regret selling another single share if NVDA's future stays bright.
So would options be a way to play this or is this quite expensive? It appears that ATM puts are $7.00 for AUG30. A full 5% premium to protect downside. Crazy? Other Thoughts? Thanks as always - you guys are amazing.

Q: Peter; I’m baffled by the trading in NPI. Last earnings beat estimates by a substantial margin. All the pundits recommendations re price are well above the current price. Could they be planning a large secondary issue - or ? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i!
I’m a little overweight in the AI sector and want to diversify. Respecting that growth and stability are not often in tandem, would you endorse a selling VRT and buying TMDX, ASPN or CLBT?
Do you see either of these three companies as having a better growth (and some stability) outlook over the next 2-3 years than VRT?
If you could only pick one which company do you have the most conviction in today?
Thanks so much for all you do!
