Thanks, Greg

Q: Would you favour DSG over KXS today? Would holding both in a portfolio be complementary or would there be too much overlap?
Q: I like this industry and model. I am retired and looking to hold this for the long-term of 10+ years.
Q: Good morning,
Thank you for the ongoing incredible insight.
Could I please get your favourite US momentum and sector ETF that you have a high conviction in its holdings.

Q: Can you give me your updated analysis on CloudFlare. It seems to be getting its groove, but do the fundamentals look like a strong growth story ahead? How overvalued is it currently and would you start a position? Thx
Q: Only Canadian dividend stocks own in non-register account qualify for the Dividend Tax Credit? Am I correct?
Q: They announced an increase to their credit facility, an indicator that business is improving. What are your thoughts on the company?
Q: Superior over time had hovered in the $12 to $16 range. Lots of volatility in it's history.
In 2011 it dropped below $6 and again in 2024.From 2011 to 2014 it recovered to over $14
In 2025 it has bounced off that $6 range, and analysts are forecasting a target price around $10. I have read your recent posts saying their 2025 fiscal year estimates raised.
Two questions:
1) What fundamentally caused this recent dive down to sub $6 from near $16?
2) Given management has raised it's guidance, are the fundamentals improving and is the $10 target estimate from analysts justified?
Thanks

Q: Hello. Curious on your thoughts on the materials sector in general - time to overweight in a long term growth portfolio? Also wondering what you think of Silver - and First Majestic to get exposure to the space. Thanks!
Q: Hi,
I have read with interest but considerable skepticism the Q&A on crypto. Lately I am starting to learn about stablecoin. Irony aside (pegging a digital currency to despised fiat currency - lol), I do think stablecoin is a possible solution to the “wild west” of digital currency.
Having said that, stablecoin is still very new, and the main player, Tether, is private. There are reports about lack of transparency with its operations despite having leading market share and significant assets under management.
With the recent eye-popping CRCL IPO, and the seeming success of Tether, can you provide some insights into the stablecoin space and how a Canadian investor favouring a long-term, total return strategy might participate without speculating?
Thank you for your valued opinion.
Michael

Q: I currently own a small position in BRM in my TFSA which is down around 25%. I don't usually average down but I might make an exception on this stock given that have good positive numbers and outlook. I own larger positions in other small caps PNG,ZDC, VHI and HBFG all of which have performed well. I know that you don't make actual portfolio recommendations but would you put more into BRM or into one of the others. Thanks for all your help. Steve
Q: With Canada embarking on défense spending, which stocks would you be looking at that may benefit in this realm?
-
Galaxy Digital Inc. Class A common stock (GLXY)
-
Coinbase Global Inc (COIN)
-
Circle Internet Group Inc. Class A (CRCL)
Q: Dear 5i
CRCL seems interesting and seems to be a somewhat more stable investment then investing in bitcoin directly . Do you see this stock as a viable option in the crypto area or is it a little to soon to tell . My one other concern is that the price of this stock goes down when interest rates go down and currently i think the rates are more likely to go down than go up . What are your thoughts on this one and would galaxy or coin be better choices in the crypto space ?
Thanks
Bill C

Q: If you buy a limited partnership in a pipeline in the US at tax time you will get forms saying you may have to file a US tax return. This happened to me once and I don't want it to happen again. I was looking to purchase "weat' as there is a real drought setting up in the central plains but am worried that a product like this might trigger another US tax reporting problem. Right or wrong ?
Q: Hi Peter,
Could you please decode Section 899 of the proposed U.S. tax measure and its potential impact on Canadians receiving income from U.S. sources?
Best,
Matt

Q: Hi 5i.
Lundin Mining recently dropped its quarterly dividend from $0.09 to $0.0275. I can't seem to find an explanation for this anywhere, though. Do you know what the reason is?
