Q: With 3 quarters behind them and an announced backlog of almost 2 years worth of work, how does one go about valuing this company? I can't find any direct public comparable that trade in Canada.

Q: Do you have a preference between these auto sector stocks?
Q: I hold HXDM in my unregistered account (MER: 0.22 + max 0.3 swap fee) and am looking for an international ETF for developed countries (ex. Canada & US), that like HXDM does not include small caps, only medium and large cap stocks. I could use HXDM but fees are high and AUM is only 477M, however, there is no withholding tax with HXDM - your comments appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Holding these 3 small companies in a TFSA, could you give your thoughts on their valuations today, and would they be ok as 5 year+ hold
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Is there any hope for Transcontinental? I am seriously underwater. Sadly it’s in a registered account so there is no benefit to tax loss selling. Buy, sell or hold?

Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC $56.55)
-
Brookfield Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (BN $90.77)
Q: Hi team,
BIPC is currently still 45% below its 52week high. Bn is now only 4% below its 52week high . Do you see BIPC playing catch up here ? Is it not a more compelling buy at this point than Bn while it’s down here , plus it’s almost 5% div ? I was looking for your thoughts if it would be wise to buy some BIPC at these levels and collect the nice div while waiting or sp recovery ?
Thanks ,
Shane

Q: If you did a US version of the 5i Balanced/Income/Growth portfolio setup, to which of the three portfolios would you assign the above stocks ? At approximately what weighting ? Are there any that you wouldn't consider ? Please ignore sector diversification.
Many thanks, as always.

Q: Looking for a recommendation for an S&P 500 ETF for an unregistered account that minimizes tax consequences while maximizing returns. Thank you.
Q: What companies do you think are getting excessively beaten up do to tax loss selling?
Q: Perhaps a long-shot question, but I wonder if you are aware of any company providing amazing services similar to 5i, but focused on the European (in particular, French, German and UK) equity markets?
Many thanks in advance! Aaron

Q: At what sustained oil price do things really start to burden TVE?
Seasonal strength in oil is approaching or is it?
Thank you for any insights you can provide.

Q: I am looking for a few suggestions for high quality corporate bonds that will mature in around 5 years. I tried using TD's fixed income tool to do research, but it seems like the selection of bonds on offer is artificially limited. Can you suggest a few bonds or direct me to a website that would allow me to better research them myself?

Sun Life Financial Inc. (SLF $83.75)
-
Power Corporation of Canada Subordinate Voting Shares (POW $54.17)
Q: Hi 5i
I saw your comment on the MFC/Global Atlantic deal. MFC has hit $28 and I had decided to re-evaluate it at this price. It seems to trade between 24-28 so I'm tempted to take the profit. But if they are buying back shares (I think I read 2.8% of float starting next year), and the market seems to like this deal, can you see it crossing $30? Also have SLF and POW (with re-evaluate price at $40)
Thanks, Greg

Q: Hello
I have equal amounts in CLO and CLF. Wondering if it might be a good idea to swap one of these for the longer term XLB Bond Fund to hopefully play the downturn in interest rates? If so which would you swap and why? Is there a safer trade with equal potential with less risk then XLB?
Thanks
Jeff

Q: Has FVRR established itself as a company with potential exceptional growth in the unique niche of the Gig economy (showing up on lists of 2024 recommendations)? Who are the major competitors? Does CELH have strategies/potential to significantly expand its marketshare within and beyond North America? Do you consider FVRR and/or CELH to be above average growth stocks?
Q: Can you please comment on the earnings report .Is the company a buy, hold or sell? Thanks
Q: Can you contrast these two names and their relative attraction from here?
Q: Hi Team
I have heard the term, window dressing, where the fund will sell their "dogs" and buy stocks that have gone up at year end so it looks like they have done well. My question is, if the sell at a loss, does that not show up in the year end results showing that they had a bad year?
Thanks
