Q: A couple of questions about HSAV: first, I wish to compare what is available on GICs to HSAV - what is the effective rate of interest being earned on dollars invested in HSAV? Second, it seems the premium paid for the price to invest compared to the NAV has risen in the last month - is there a reason why? And is there any way to predict if the premium will get any smaller in the next few weeks? Last, is there a fairly direct relationship between any reductions from the BoC to what is earned with HSAV, eg if the BoC reduces by 1%, does the effective rate earned with HSAV go down by 1%? Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: In a question by Savalai, 5i indicated that VBK would be a good international small cap growth ETF. After looking into this, it looks like this is primarily US.
Is there another ETF you would recommend for international small cap growth?

Q: Would you initiate a position here? This company rarely falters the way it has recently. Is this a compelling buy, if so, please rate it on scale of 1-10, 10 being a high conviction. Please rank it amongst your favourites in consumer discretionary.

Thank you.

Q: Hi there, I have an interesting question regarding sell equities from a global etf to live on in retirement. I would sell once a year to set aside money for yearly living expenses. I suppose indiscriminately a person could do this on Jan 1 every year but presumably the ideal time to sell equity to live off would be at their yearly highs. Based on this presumption, technically and seasonality wise historically when would be a good time in the year to pull expenses to fund a years worth of living expenses?

Q: I'm looking for more momentum in the healthcare sector for the next 3-5 years, at least. I am a long term investor. I currently have ABBV and SYK but am thinking about moving on and buying LLY and ISRG as replacements. Are you still bullish on both LLY and ISRG, and do you think that such a switch makes sense in this market? Thank you!

Q: Cemetrix is a small Cdn. Co. with a unique concrete product. It fits in well with infrastructure upgrades. They have good future contracts and I have been slowly building a position. Now they have issued a "bought deal" private placement financing of 7,778,000 units (the "Units") of the Company at a price of $0.45 per Unit (the "Issue Price") for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of $3,500,100 (the "Offering"). The Units will be issued under Part 5A (the "Listed Issuer Financing Exemption") of National Instrument 45-106 - Prospectus Exemptions ("NI 45-106").
The shares dropped like a stone. Your thoughts please on this Company going forward.
Regards Gordo
