Q: I am looking at these two companies (one or both) for my TFSA which I use for my more aggressive investments. I believe the sport gambling and the e-gaming sectors offer explosive growth but there of course will be winners and losers. They both have big name backers.
Your opinion ( financial strength, management, etc. )of these two would be appreciated. Do you like either or both? Any other favourite Canadian alternatives ? Thanks

Q: I am in my early 80's ,have large capital gains and plan to stay invested in equities as my parents lived to over be over 100.
I believe that the capital gains inclusion rate will be increased to 75% as early as December 31,2021 which is 50 years since the capital gains tax originated.
As a result I intend to begin selling the equities with the largest gains with a view of buying a portion of them back after leaving enough in cash to cover the tax.
Can I repurchase the same day or do I have to wait until after the date of settlement?

Q: Is there a great deal of difference between ayx and pltr in terms of what they do?
How much does ayx deserve to be in the penalty box for their recent results/outlook? You seem to have cooled off on this name considering recent answers.

Q: Hello Folks:
I owned Costco for a number of years, however moved into Loblaw as Costco has become so expensive. Costco continues moving higher while Loblaw remains stagnant. Is it unreasonable to switch back to Costco, or are there better options?

Q: I own a full position in FTNT and in RPD in a registered account. The holding is for 10 years +++ Would you be inclined to switch one of the two for CRWD , which one and why? There would be no fees associate to the trade (no tax implication and trading fees are not significative relative to the size of the position)

Q: With the increase in price of KXS,DSG, SHOP, REAL and LSPD I now have a total of 23% of my portfolio in these shares. I have taken profits and reduced my position each of them. The only concerns I have going forward is with KXS and DSG. Ross Healy on BNN did not have a very Rosie picture for KXS. I know that different views is what makes a market. You continue to be much more positive on KXS and continue to recommend it. DSG andKXS are somewhat similar. I respect your opinion, would you recommend selling either one? If so which? I view many of these guest as having a person interest in recommendations. I always take them with a grain of salt. I have seen this in my previous life while working for a major investment firm.

Q: This question is about MTRX or Loop Insights on the TSXV. It doesn't seem to be in your system when I entered the ticker.

Loop Insights is getting a lot of chatter amongst the self-directed crowd on Reddit and the stock price is rocketing up accordingly.

Is this company legitimate? Is there great potential here? Or is the stock price a pump?

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you comment on curaleaf's earnings? This company has been doing well but it looks like the market did not like its current earnings yet the company is growing nicely. Also, why would a company remove the current CEO that has done quite well for the company? Any reason for the other three stocks: jwel well, and doc to be taking a hit. Is this just short term sector rotation due to the vaccine announcement and if so, is it better just to hold these for longer timeframe? Thanks very much.
