Q: Hello 5i,

Just a question about insider purchases ...
BDI has had ongoing purchases by Edward Kernaghan, of Indirect Ownership of Common Shares.

For the past couple of months he (or his groupl) have been buying small (<500) and large lots (>60,000) on a daily basis.
I am assuming he is purchasing these for clients but it seems odd that it has been going on for as long as it has (since October).
From your experience, what if any insight can be gleaned form this information?
Any info or comments would be welcome!

Q: Swing Trading. I would appreciate your advice on how to go about swing trading. For instance, I have noticed a couple of companies, Torstar and Reitman's, which make very large swings down and up. And this seems fairly constant. Is it worth it to try something like this on these companies. Or, are there better types of companies to use for that?

Q: I am a senior and rely on my dividends for income in a RIF. I would like to know what I should do with ZWE, I own a 4.8% position and I own ZDI 6% position. DO I sell one and combine? Q: I have owned MAXR/MDA(in my RSP; approx 2.5% of my Portfolio) since 2015 and currently Market Value slightly greater than the Book Cost . I am a long term investor ,however, I am undecided re keeping MAXR or to sell and invest in another stock. Your input would be appreciated. Q: Does power metals corp. have a worthwhile deposit in its spodumene lithium area in Ontario. It is stated that spodumene mining results in a purer lithium extraction that is necessary for the small lithium batteries in smartphones and all small appliances.
